  • that was terrific, really cool to see the Bronx as it was years ago. How did Mr. Kirson pass away?

  • The internet newsletter "Cabaret Hotline" reported that Arthur passed away on Friday, Feb 28, 2003 after at age 54. He had recently retired as a NY high school counselor. Arthur was also a composer and entertained in notable cabarets including Jan Wallman's, also a friend of mine. Arthur was performing in "Guys & Dolls at the Players' Club (Manhattan) when he took a few days off to fight "the flu" but died in his apartment. A Google search will yield more info. Sid

  • thank you so much to the person who uploaded this video!!! i'm Arthur's second cousin (my father was his first cousin) and to see him again like this just fills my heart with joy!!

  • Dear ms1974,

My warmest regards to Arthur's extended family and friends. It has been a joy for me to finally be able to share Arthur's essay with the world. Sid Fortune.

  • I am and always be in debt to this great human being. He was my teacher, my friend my inspiration and idol... I will never forget the man he was to me and the person he taught me that I could be. It kills me that I did'nt get to spend as much time with him as many of you have but, the time I did is cherished and treasured. Arthur (once he knew you) treated you like family. A characteristic that not many teachers have. Arthur you will always be missed and your forever loved.

  • I was a student of Arthur from 1990 to 1993 when I graduated from high school. I was proud to have known him and am forever grateful for his help in getting into the college of my choice and his strong belief that I had potential. He will forever be missed.

  • Thank you for this. So good to see my old friend. I still miss you Arthur.

  • Proud to have been one of Arthur's friends. Thank you for sharing this.

  • Oh, what joy to see Arthur again. How I've missed him these last six years. I wish I could tell him how much i enjoyed his trip home to the Bronx. Cynthia Crane
