Actually Misha is correct. New York Giants won the World Series in 1954 before it moved to San Fransico in 1958. Cheers

Congrats, SF Giants! Technically, it is their second championship BUT actually they won as New York Giants. However this is FIRST W.S. Championship for San Francisco after they moved from NY to SF in 1958.

@InsaneMisha yeah, I am aware of this being SAN FRANCISCO Giants' first World Series win, smile. I believe I said it was SAN FRANCISCO Giants' first time in the video. Anyway, was good history lesson for me that Giants came to SF in 1958 when I was 4 years old. I remember growing up all my life with SF Giants and being fan since CSD brought kids to Candlestick every year in May. I also remembered the 1989 WS, but only the earthquake. Didn't remember who won it--now I know it's the A's. Wow!!
