It's not that it's bad. It just sounds way too much like the original. I can tell your trying to sound like Joey which isn't good. What you should've tried to do was give the song your own spin and thus give it a whole new dynamic instead of making a carbon copy. Like what kind of style would you have taken if you wrote the song? That's what a cover you should be. A completely fresh spin. Or else why listen to a cover if it's the same?
