not everyone has 100s of dollars pounds or whatever to buy 'handwired botique' pedals that in reality sound almost the same as boss or hardwire pedals and are just for people who have 1. too much money or 2. are professionals recording in a studio
I disagree. The blues driver is a descent overdrive. I really like the way the last chord trailed off. This would also be cool in a wet/dry blend pedal, both in the wet path and just the od in the wet path. Cool idea.

That would sound cool, but Boss drive pedals are crap. I'd use a more botique drive pedal and you'd probably get really nice sound.
