@SuperMalcolmB Football is way easier than soccer, it's easy to tackle someone, but it takes a while to learn how to slide tackle. Also using our hands is pretty much instinct and it's easier to run with a ball in your hands than in your feet. You have to learn how to control a ball with your feet but it's easy to hold a ball and run. Also it's easy to get up from a tackle when you're covered with protection but it's hard getting cleated with not protection but you shins.
@PickleKunAMV Another thing, a lot of kids play soccer because it's more convenient, you pretty much just need shin guards and cleat. For football you need a helmet, cleats, and fucking body armor lmao. Anyway it also makes it easier for girls and young children to play soccer because it's not so as physical. I held mentally unstable kids play soccer, you can't do that with football because there's too much risk. It's just more welcoming to a larger group of people.

I'm from Sweden and I prefer american football. But I still respect the two sports equally. In both games you need strength, cardio, agility, tactic and heart. Cuz lets face it, it is hard work to run for 90 minutes. And lets face, it is a pain in the ass to get a 190 cm or 6"4" feet tall football player rushing in to you.
But wether it is harder or not, at the end of the day, there are two lovely sports with their two lovely ways of playing

I'm from Sweden and I prefer american football. But I still respect the two sports equally. In both games you need strength, cardio, agility, tactic and heart. Cuz lets face it, it is hard work to run for 90 minutes. And lets face, it is a pain in the ass to get a 190 cm or 6"4" feet tall football player rushing in to you.
But wether it is harder or not, at the end of the day, there are two lovely sports with their two lovely ways of playing

The thing is, the fastest soccer players are not necessarily the best... Skills > Athleticism in the real football.

You obviously haven't heard of Rugby. Which is mostly popular in countries outside of the US and has some of the biggest athletes in the world. Not to mention they don't wear any padding.
