  • Well said. I think too many people believe there is a magical place all unwanted animals go to and don't think about the results of having too many animals and too few homes. Time to get thinking on a solution!

  • Individuals fail to realize that for several individuals, responsibly raising purbred dogs is the livelyhood for many and they love what they do. For some disabled individuals who cannot handle a 9 to 5 job--this is their life and their only source of income. It is actually more labor intensive than a 9-5 job--and many never take vacations for themselves--they are with their animals 24-7 day in and day out. It is a passion for them. Radicals fail to see this.

  • A big Thank you! to everyone who got out and voted against this Money and Power hungry giant! Almost 1 million people spoke out against this--that is a lot guys! AND WE DON'T EVEN HAVE RICH CELEBRITIES BACKING US!!!! Great work! The fight is far from over--lets stick together and continue to educate everyone on the HSUS and their deceptive ways. By all means--donate to your local shelters and HS--but don't let this animal extremist see another cent!

  • Under Prop B, responsible breeders will no longer be allowed to buy & administer their own shots/meds. Necessary shots are already costly--but the law would require breeders to load up all their puppies and travel to the vet for EVERY necessary shot/med--exposing young unprotected puppies to needless travel and diseases at the vet clinics. Many vets charge an office call per visit--more needless expenses for reputable breeders already struggling to provide quality puppies at an affordable price

  • @KnowledgeisPower2011 Too many breeders are irresponsible with vaccines and don't know what they are doing. If they don't have the money to pay for a doctor visit than they don't have the money for an even more expensive c-section when the pregnant mother has difficulties, or when one of those puppies gets sick at their OWN home. A few doctor exams are minuscule in comparison to the realistic costs of breeding.

  • Watch the entire video.

  • Has everyone watched this video? It will only require 3 mins of your time...

  • Eliquintly spoken. Thank You for making this video.

  • Very well said. HSUS is not an expert in animal caring by any means. They do use misleading tatics to raise money that for the most part never reaches animals in need. Thank you for taking the time to make this video. And the animals thank you as well.

  • On August 1, 1991, a resolution was submitted by petition at the American Veterinary

Medical Association (AVMA) annual meeting. Signed by 163 AVMA members,

Resolution 13' opposed the further capture of free-living cetaceans. The resolution

received a presentation by the petitioner and an opposing argument was presented by

a contract veterinarian from Sea World. No further discussion occurred and resolution

13 was defeated (Thatcher, 1992). -Jerye Mooney 1998

  • Good video. It is a sad thing that so many animals are unwanted during this recession, and I hate to think of horses being slaughtered; but, like Dr. DeHaven said, there is no easy solution. If there were, then this would have already stopped. A lot of the problem is a lack of responsibility and planning on the parts of the owners, and that is something that will be nearly impossible to change.
