Finally someone who said acrylicis bad.. I see everyone using acrylic... And I'm dumbass... My ears aren't stretched atm cuz I got an infection by acrylic.. Which is why I want to tell people not to use acrylic
You are not making a wound when stretching. Or maybe you are, but you're doing it wrong. I have acrylic spiral in my ear and I haven't got any problems with them. I'm at 14mm now.
You're supposed to wait at least a month before stretching again, and for lubing up the taper, jojoba- or emu oil is good, vasaline is not very good :). Also, if you're changing the taper for the plugs, make sure it is single or not flared and made out of glass or steel. A better way for stretching is taping with PTFE or bondage tape, it makes it easier to stretch gradually. I'm sorry I don't intend to sound like a smart ass, I just want people to have healthy ears ^_^.

wouldn't it not make a difference if you said gauging because essentially you are making the gauge larger? idk :\
