I found sitting in the front of the class really helps! If I do sit in the back I lose focus, get bord, and just day dream! So I always try to be in the front and participate!

You have multiple tips, so you go through them rather fast. I would not want anyone to overlook the advantages of doing work before it is due ... well before if possible. That is how I got a 4.0 in graduate school. I would review it with them before it was due. That way, I could always give them exactly what they wanted.

Most professors appreciated it; one did not.  Her response was, "Wait a minute, that's not due until next week. See me then."

lol when kat started speaking half way through he picked a dog! LOL I think he did that purposely for humour.... I'm 19 n I got a learning disability known as ASD I dropped outta school in grade 9 and didn't really pay attention in school and now I'm going to tafe to do grade 10 but I got no idea how to study n it was hard doing it yesterday but luckily if u fail u just go back over what u need to correct until u pass! at tafe even 4 most of their or all of their other courses I get help too

so it all comes down to notes. why notes? what other way to learning is there? (serious question) cause i believe notes are very non-efficient if not the worst.

By writing notes you are instilling the knowledge and the concepts of the notes. Also, if known how to take notes correctly it is a great reviewing tool which can help you more academically, but there are some other ways to get the knowledge through that will benefit other people, but I personally like notes because of the reviewing fact. funny thing is, if you write a lot of things related to whatever the test is about, you can pass, but you should not go way off topic. the best way to ensure it is to giv lots of examples from the text or watever, that way, they'll know or think you tried to read it, an possibly giv u a good grade

When I am ill I will ask my friend for his notes and just scan them in and also borrow a text book for the section, I will also scan that and then write stuff out from that.
