  • it is in Russia....youtube.com/watch?v=ciWrbTDiWWw

  • @ILYA1972 add www

  • I had an adenoidectomy with my tonsillectomy at the same time

  • i gotta get this fml

  • wtf thats what happened to me...

  • THAT'S WHAT THEY DID TO MY ADENOIDS! GROSS! I had both my tonsils and adenoids removed, it was icky.

  • @00wolfgirl1 me too

  • The video itself is great, but I find the music distracting as it overpowers the verbal explanation of the procedure.

  • Do they put you asleep? Im nervous because I am doing this tomorrow. GULP!

  • Nice! He did a very good job.

  • Comment removed

  • 0:42 GRROOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSs

  • Oh my!! that was awful :S I just know I couldnt be a surgeon O-O

  • I could never do that.

    I gag just watching it.

  • the Doctor is just tearing up the adenoids with that suction thingy.

  • why is this guy yelling so much?

  • was better the snoopy song in the other video!

man! you are killing an adenoid!

  • is this one of the causes of bad breath?

  • the music helped me not to barf during the video. I am thinking of having this done, because i have such a hard time breathing though my nose, and i was told this is the reason. watching the precidure help me get over my fear of the surgery a little bit. Thanks for uploading the video.

  • mucus on the tool yuck. hope its disposable

  • it sounds like the narrator needs his adenoids removed.....very nasal voice!! and yeh..AGAIN with the stupid music!

  • The music is really annoying and misfitting.

  • thats what was goin on in my throat two days ago?? GRODIE. well now i totally understand why i can hardly swallow anything

  • mine spitted blood

  • i had my adnoids taken out today , my mouth hurts and my voice is nasely

  • @45animallover after mine, do you know what it sounds like when you talk and then yawn while you talk and you cant here anything and your voice is loud?that happens everytime i say something with a k or c

  • My 3.5 year old just had this done this morning, along with her tonsils. She's effin' miserable, now. I suppose the good news is that when she's older she won't remember a thing about the pain. It's cold comfort. =\

  • so this is what happened to me. fucked up.

  • Dr.Chang is one of the best ENT doctors worldwide!

  • Did the same individual who is responsible for the comical voice-over in this video also make this outlandish and semi-retarded choice of background music? THAT is a doctor I'd be worried about... if he is so overwhelmingly stylistically-retarded...does that same flavor of brain-dysfunction extend into his/her medical skills? Gotta ask yourself that.

  • wish this procedure had been around when I had it done back in the 70's

  • that ruined my day

  • aww fuck and im getting this surgery in a few weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @rap33r100 same here, shouldn't have watched this BEFORE the surgery!!

  • what is that???

  • gawd!!!! thats something i'd rather not know went on within me.... thank god you get put to sleep with an adenectomy

  • I had this surgery done when I was 11 lol

  • "Before" looks better lol.

  • wrong music

  • @manc34a Haha ikr

  • that was so amazing

  • The adenoids are part of the IMMUNE SYSTEM, part of the reason that they were swollen is probably because they were fighting off an infection. The adenoids are not the source of the infection, but the antagonist of it.

The removal of the adenoids is detrimental to one's health as it removes part of our immune system, and does not stop the source of the infection or disease. Unfortunately, my adenoids were taken from em. Removed 10 years ago, I still suffer from the same complications.

  • What rubbish.

  • @tblack1627 The adenoids are only part of the juvenile IMMUNE SYSTEM (using caps doesn't actually do anything, see?) which become vestigial after about the age of 6-7 (once one stops using the lymph system and moves to the adult's much more robust immune system).

Stop assuming that because your ONE (I did it again lawl) case appears to be non-standard that no one anywhere should ever have this procedure.

That's just supid, and indicates a lack of higher cognitive ability...

  • Holly Fucking shit

  • Interresting

  • face @ 2:32 --> owO

  • .. I'm just like shaking right now.

  • did he burn it?

  • I Think I want My Adnoids Back . . .

  • dude he just cut it up? (ughhh...'o.O)

  • oh dear god THATS what they did to my adenoids...

  • wtf is this batman music in the back? and the guy narrating all this sounds like hes retarded. also before looks better....

  • wtf is this batman music in the back? and the guy narrating all this sounds like hes retarded

  • Done

  • 0:42 oh my god oh my god!!! sooo nasty!

  • got mine removed last year

  • Looks like ramano cheese :D

  • That's pretty cool actually... like, gross, but cool that we have come up with a way to do this...

  • i had this done 3 months ago i was 15 at the time didnt hurt one bit! i slept like a baby of course after u have to drink soup it will be a lil difficult swallowing but now i sleep like a baby! i RECOmMAND ALL TO DO IT!

  • cooked!

  • i got my tonsills and adnoids out wen i was 2 i almos died i culdnt breathh

  • im getting my tonsil and adnoids removed next week!!

  • Lol i read analectomy xD

  • can this be done awake?

  • @isisbenny404 I wouldn't recommend it. I woke up with the worst sore throat of my life after the anesthesia wore off. Get ready to down buckets of ice cream. :)

  • @ladyme33 it isnt good to eat ice cream after you have tonsils and adenoids removed because there is a layer of film in the mouth that dairy products stick to when raw like they are after surgery, this film is also UN-digestible so that would iin fact make you sick

  • nice...but whats with the austin powers background music? ;-)

  • I had it done today, and it feels like I swallowed a hot coal. Pain can be reduced by icing the throat with a ice pack, drinking cold fluids, and eating icecream. Healing time is 7-10 days, but there is a chance of bleeding up to 21 days after surgery.

  • looks like bleu cheese.

  • that liquid is acid?

  • @jameskim0517 yes it is the same liquid as blob was made

    XD

  • Hmm i am Hungry

  • I knew a hooker who had a problem that looked like this, but it wasn't adenoids.

  • what is an andoid or w/e...like what does it do?

  • 1.Put your hand over your mouth

2.Make a wish and say it to your hand

3.Put your hand on your heart for 5 seconds

4.Put these steps on 3 videos

5.Tommorrow you will have a great day 4 hours ago

  • this looks like a scene from a horror movie. i cant believe i had this done to me... twice. no wonder i had a sore throat after someone blew up one of my internal organs

  • made me hungry^^

  • I'm having an adinoidectamy on the 27th :S scaryy!!!!

  • @moizi164 i might be having one some time after 28th of august ;^;

  • it sounds like he is performing the proceedure on himself, while commenting :-D

  • @ebrons xDDD thats right! haha ^^

  • oh the music! what classics! when your having ur droids liquid sucked out :D

  • hey um thats gross i take the last comit back u wernt loved enough

  • Please post all the Anesthesia procedures used for your surgeries! Thank you

  • The music just tops it off lol :D

  • Does it take 1 year for tissue to heal? The final shot at end of video is from 1 year pst surgery?

What's a good procedure for a 2 year old with small sinus opening and huge adenoids and tonsils? Partial tonsillectomy? I'm his father and as a child I had my adenoids removed twice while awake (local anesthesia). Crude method, but better than suffocating during sleep.

  • that was horrifying

    yet oddly satisfying....

    do not judge me!

  • youve been judged

  • lol dont be scared its not real

  • My poor baby will have tubes put in and his adenoids removed on 03/31 :-S

  • eww this is disgusting, and to think I had this done when i was eight years old!

  • *PUKE*

  • He Sounds Like a Gay Computer

  • @christiangr22

  • @middimar man shut da fuck up bitch

  • @middimar maybe sandman should have his sexual education

i dont care if this isnt sex

  • @middimar im sorry but he is right that is the wrong music and dont be such an ass for just saying the truth

  • what...the fuck???is it legal to put all these vids here?

  • Ew =/

  • this guy is like an 8th grade nerd

  • yes maybe u are right maybe u r wrong cos he spent 6 years studying general medicine and the 5 years to specialize in his medical field and You didn't so don't say a doctor is nerd cos its not just that he learns to be able to cure some people like you

  • wtff I got this done as a kid... thats so nasty, what did they do to me!?!

  • @kingn8link

ur procedure probably involved more bleeding, since the instrument is this video kinda new and less messy.

  • looks like pot growing in there.. gross..

  • So fascinating.

  • Interesting choice of music. Baby Elephant Walk.

I'm glad you included an image of one year later. It really looked like a mess just after.

    Thanks

  • so nastyyy!!!!!!!

  • that is sexy

  • how the hell is sexy!??!?!/ its nasty!!!!

  • Where did you think the adnoids in your soup came from? Savory.

  • what is that shit?

  • I'm getting this next tuesday. Fantastic. It looks worse than it did before, all green and nasty.

  • hhhmmm, fried mince anyone?

  • why is there smoke

  • what the hell is that?

  • "barf out my......."

  • WAT DA FUCK

  • omg that shi* looks nasty lol i will never eat lasagna again T_T

  • @sandman4056605 but i like the lasagna D:

  • baa man

  • i had it when i was like 5 and it wasnt bad at all... they gave me anesthesia and a then i woke up... i didnt even know they did it...

  • now why do we need that removed and what does it do? WTF?

  • It actually does a whole lot of things getting rid of them. If you have enlarged adenoids it can slow down growth, give sleep deprication, make breathing a very difficult job, bedwetting won't stop until very late years in a childs life. It's weird I know but getting rid of them is a very good idea.

  • @xPancakes4lyf holds infection in your sinuses

  • I bet that left a bad taste when they woke up yay!

  • Now I know why it hurt so damn bad.

  • eww... your gonna have to buy a new one of those thingy i dont think anyone wud like that in the mouth when they see this o.o

  • Please someone leave me a comment what the **** is that? some kind of mushroom?

  • OMG!!! It looks like cooked hamburger

  • i dont get it they put me to sleep when they did this to me

  • They put everyone to sleep when they have that surgery, cauterization is one of the most painful things anyone could experience and their doing that inside your head. I couldn't imagine that sort of pain as it's happening. I know it hurt like hell after I woke up from it.

  • HAHAHA listen to the music oh my god

  • lol, it's more entertaining than the video.

  • lol yeah really, the video is horrible i actually have to get my adenoids out soon ah

  • Grosss

  • трахнитесь это.

  • I had the tonsils and adenoids taken out when I was 18 yrs old. Now at 48, a few weeks ago I started to have obstructive sleep. My tongue seals that empty chamber where those glands were located and I wake up suddenly which make it hard to sleep.

  • I also had taken them at age of 5 and I have sleeping problems nowadays too at 22. tomorrow I will go to the doc... I dont know the reasons, but is very disgusting waking up all the night.

  • What is that? 0.ó

  • son mocos

  • omg....

  • I am sure the surgeon imitates the sound of a man with adenoids (sounds like your nose is pinched- because adenoids obstruct the passage of air from nose).

  • some times i ask myself why the hell i wath these videos..

  • werd

  • lol the guy talks funny

  • Somehow the "After"- picture reminds me of blue cheese :PPP

Anyways, another interesting video. Thanks for this :D

  • It's so disgusting, it's hard to belive surgeons can get used to this.

  • that's something i could have lived without EVER knowing,.....my eyes burn=(

  • omfg! how do ppl do this! i mean fuck! thats discussting! (interesting but fucking discusting!)

  • My adenoids were removed when I was 8-years-old. It happened in Russia at the begging of 90th. At that moment Russian hospitals didn't have enough funds and medication, so doctor pulled my adenoids without any anesthesia with some kids of special medical "knife". I still remember tons of blood. It hurt so bad. I wish I would have removed it now in USA with normal human technics.

  • why does the doctor sound like hes retarded?

  • it is kind of hard to talk and do the operation at the same time

  • what was that

  • that looks discusting..it sucks it in damn

  • Before and After...the before looks waay better tbh

  • eww that looks soo gross!

  • my older sister got her adenoid removed today.

  • im gettin mine removed in 2 days

  • I had mine out when I was four, and that was sort of a long time ago. Even back then, it wasn't bad. They gave me some gas, I went to sleep, and woke up wanting to know when they were going to do the surgery.

Mine grew back, but the doctor told me that was really rare. In my case, they were severely over-sized, and now they are normal, so it was worth it.

  • kik funny

  • im getting my tonsils removed and my adnoids removed this tuesday and im aleready scared!!!! LOL

  • What they are doing????

  • why am i even watching these things? im VERY squeamish and i dont know why im looking these things up.

  • Same, but I have to get this done... ehhhhh...

  • well if your getting your anenoids out then its not sore at all because i got my tonsils ou not that long ago and my anenoids and my nose never hurt 1 bit

  • Comment removed

  • OMFG!!!!!

  • ula kizin burnuna girdik hahahahahah

  • delicious! next stop the bathroom!! but i gotta admit this was awesome and very educational

  • Thats some funky music. Loving It.

  • it's called "Baby Elephant Walk" by composer Henry Mancini. :)

  • I get to do this in a week, for the 3rd time.
