  • u going to fucking break it before u use it

  • @amsmiami2011 another insecure internet troll lol

  • @amsmiami2011 Listen Im not a troll I have the 7D and I use it carefully so chill

  • who is that hot lady on your wall in the white blouse

  • Does the 7d have an automatic feature. I've heard it's a great camera for sports shots but what about portrait and landscape. Are there any other auto program modes for different shots or does the auto feature if it has one take care of that. I want an auto feature to take great pics but what full manual to learn from as well. Was considering the t3i or the 60d for a little more money but like the d7 for full view viewfinder.

  • Hi. Can you extract still images from the movie clips?

  • Its nice to see a user's review of the camera. Im stick of pixel peeking pro reviews.

  • @ilovehubbas it was my pleasure :0

  • Excellent video and loved the comment about the battery charger! LOL!

  • thanks for your review!

  • I'm white & I liked his video, so stop being a racist ass

  • @anfguy10 and how did you get that?

  • 1:55 LMAO!!!!!

  • Crop you mean like a weed crop right , YO! That is very fun, YO you the man! Stay up homie! Glad you dont use my camera! Took it back! Did you use layaway? Man, You cant even spell Technology, much less say it! Yo, at the WEDDIN, 7fps, MAN that VERDICK is NINNEEEEY5 outa HUNDREDDDD! You you was Creeepin too. Dayummm!!!!

  • @healthpimp thanks it take a lot to say that Troll :)

  • @healthpimp Unnecessarily racist.... you need to grow the fuck up...

  • Hey man nice review...you should really do a review on that lens you got the 24-70 L, I'm sure a lot of people will like that. Also, I was wondering why u prefered the 24-70 L over the 24-105 L, I'm considering both and will appreciate it if I could get some insight. Thank you in advance.

  • @Mozo901 one reason i chose the 24-70mm is a Lower F-Stop at 2.8.

  • Is it better to shoot HD in 24 frames but in 720p OR, 30 frames but in 1080p?

  • @Skydivingkittens it depends on what your shooting look up the 180 rule by Scott Bourne. i like shooting in both modes

  • I loved this. Man you sold me on the idea of buying one. I tried so hard to get a person in a camera retail shop here in brisbane Australia and they all ignored me. Watching your video is awesome and man I so want one now. Thank you.

  • @ArchibaldMarmaduke your welcome my friend the Canon 7D is a great camera if you need anymore help let me know

  • Ya, well, its really an impressive DSLR, but what I wanted to know - and didnt find anywhere else either - is more about the features and buttons n knobs. For example, is it possible to eclipse the ocular like nikon can do it? What is that switch for above the cam/vid-button on right side of ocular?

It looks like a slider, what is it for?

All in all its a real adorable cam. It would be my number 1 choice. Very cool pretty body.

  • Hey what editing software do you use for editing with your 7D?

  • not having full frame is a downside, but having a full frame camera body below the 5D would be very redundant. it'd be cool if they made it a 1.3 crop, kinda making a lower priced 1D. an the 5 woul be the lower piced 1DS, kinda marketing the two cameras as just more affordable versions of the expensive stuff. i'm a genious! haha. but I guess a lot of sports photographers like the crop for their intensions... kinda like the Nikon full frame has the crop option. jus preference to an extent...

  • great video and thank you for the tip "We don't take pictures we make pictures"!

  • Good video man. Why'd you get rid of the full frame mark 2? Also, I can't figure out if I should get a crop sensor or full frame, do you mind talking more about the two and the pro's/con's? Thanks!

  • it looks like your camera just got out of the box and yet it seems that you have it for so long..pls tell us something we cant find or read in DP Reviews or Cameralabs. Maybe ISO and White Balance performance vs 5DMk2 and stop playin with the mc door it wont do anything for this review. Thanks dude

  • thanks for your thoughts, this is just what I think on the camera.

  • who insures your camera. im looking for camera insurance

  • my local car/home insurance place

  • EXACTLY what I was thinking except the way you said it makes it sound much simpler! U rock.

  • it seems that the 7d is more advanced than the 5dmk2 in every way other than full frame sensor

  • @sasktank

yeah, lets hope that the 5dmk2 gets released within the next 1-2years.

  • The crop frame is pretty bad. Basically to achieve a 50mm feel, you need to purchase 24 or 30mm lens, which also means no easily achievable wide shots.

The 5DM2 is getting a 24p firmware updat early 2010.

This camera is great, but as a second unit camera for filmmaking.

  • I'm not a filmmaker, so it work for me

  • lol u scared the shit out of me when he droped the battery charger lol nice vid man that for spending the time keep up the good work =)

  • Thanks

  • which are the best, canon eos 7d or nikon d300s? they have same price.. i'm confused to decided..

  • Go to your local camera store and try holding both of them. Whatever feels better in your hands is the one for you. Good luck!

  • 7d HANDS DOWN

  • so glad you made this. i'm waiting for my 7d to arrive tomorrow... mostly will be doing instudio live music mini docs, so i'll use a lot of vid, and a lot of stills.

what other lenses have you shot on your 7D and what do you like?

do you own a 5dmII as well?

    cz

  • your welcome the 7d is a great camera I shot with a 70- 200 mm on the 7d as well the 5dmkii. I took back the 5d mkii because of the price ( i still want it tho).

    i also have a 24-70 mm lens. 2.8

  • thanks

  • so whats the difference between full frame and cropped framE? IS IT A HUGEEE DIFFERENCE??

  • Full frame means a wider image, doesn't work with EF-S lenses, potentially less noise, greater depth of field separation (more background blur at wide apertures). It also means no crop factor on the EF lenses, so they are wider, and cheaper EF lenses could result in vignetting you wouldn't see with a crop-sensor camera.

  • thanks, so what would be a good recommended lens for this camera (Canon 7D)?

  • So does this camera satisfy the average photographers needs??

  • yes it does

  • ok awesome, thanks :) and it has an auto mode if you dont feel like customizing the settings, right?

  • Thanks for that review. Till I saw this, I didn't know it had a standard mic jack (was lacking in the pre-production version).

Too bad for no audio monitoring though.

  • your welcome

  • nice review. I too bought 7D after selling 500D. Still didnt get time to explore it much.

  • I cant wait to see the 5D mark 3.

  • congrats on the new camera:)

  • thanks
