  • That doll used to scare the living shit out of me. I mean, the talking doll reminded me of chucky and I half expected it to jump out and kill me.

i remember watching this when was between 3 and 5.... i feel bad for the current generation the brains are being fried by all three of the big networks (disney, nicklodeon [sorry spelling issues] and espexially cartoon network!)

  • It's funny how cartoons can make your childhood nostalgic.

  • @xoreds090 i know right i uloved the big comfy couch!! <3

  • What happened to the good ol' days when we had kid shows like this? I miss them ):

  • i loved when she needed to find something in the couch and then shell pull out the craziest things

  • 8:00-8:40

(time lapses alternate between Molly's time-out, the hourglass for that, and Loonette working on the clock)

Loonette (after finishing her work, and noticing the hourglass dust has completely sunk): Clock's fixed and...time's up. Well Molly, have you calmed down now? (Molly nods) Well, good for you. That was a good time-out. (Molly nods again, the now-fixed alarm clock goes off)

  • @gameshowguy2000 You are obsessed with this show. And time outs.

  • 7:35-8:00

(Molly drops blanket on Loonette, Loonette throws off blanket and is angry)

Loonette: THAT'S IT! Time-Out for you, young dolly. (moves hourglass over to Molly's side) Now, when the time dust from this (the hourglass) has gone to the bottom, then you can come out from under the scarf and be with me again. (Molly nods as she is covered with the scarf) There. While we're waiting, I can fix our clock (turns over hourglass)...without interruption. (continues to work on said clock)

  • That wasn't as easy as it looks.

  • What, the Time-Out?

  • No. I meant all this from 7:35 to 8:00.

  • That's what I'm talking about...the Time-Out. Then from 8:00-8:40, the time lapses alternate between the hourglass for the Time-Out, the Time-Out itself, and Loonette working on fixing that alarm clock (without interruption). That took almost 90 seconds.

  • yo when i was a kid i loved this show

  • 4:30

(Molly whacks at the alarm clock with a toy hammer)

    Loonette: Molly, that's not helping.

    (Molly continues whacking away)

Loonette: Molly, please stop doing that, or you'll have to have a Time Out. (to the viewers) That's what we do in our house when some clown is being a pest or just won't cooperate.

    (Whack)

Loonette: Some clown has to sit by themselves and think or calm down just for a little while until they're ready to join the group again. It really works, right Molly? (Molly nods)

  • The alarm clock's different after the season 2 finale.

  • I can tell...the alarm clock here had bigger hands.

  • Loonette was about to say "Clock" at 3:31.

  • its true she played claire redfield in ever resident evil game with her in it

  • i had a molly doll. it was awesome.

  • The Cat is cute

  • Yeah, he is.

    The cats name is Snicklefritz.

  • what dont she have in that couch! haha

  • Zucchinis, weenies, and beanies. They all rhyme..but I'd prefer a supreme, combination (sausage and pepperoni), or any pizza with pepperoni.

  • @spongebobcrazy123 Her name is Alyson Court. She is 36 now. She has been on various kids shows

  • @spongebobcrazy123 alyson court

  • @spongebobcrazy123 her name is alyson court :)

  • @spongebobcrazy123 yea i do 2 an im 12

  • In this ep, the 3rd version's music is played at normal speed..it's played at a slower speed in Comfy & Joy, to allow the viewers a chance to enjoy the music.

Also, Loonette stretched slower in Comfy & Joy and streches at normal speed here.

  • *stretches

  • The Alphabet Game should've been used in this episode when Loonette will make the letter T with her body. Why? The letter T would've been the perfect letter in this episode because "time", "tick" and "tock" start with that letter if Loonette did that letter.

  • "Time-Out" also starts with the letter T.

  • True.

  • hope i'm not the only guy here XD

  • ur not. i'm a guy

  • And the VHS title is appropriate: Time-Out. Some of us have had one in school before (mainly elementary school).

  • Since the 3rd version of the Clock Rug Stretch was the telling time version, the 2nd version was the cuckoo version.

  • And Comfy and Joy used a wintery version of the 3rd version's music.

  • Yep. The reason why the 2nd version of Clock Rug Stretch was called the cuckoo version is because there were some cuckoo sounds from a cuckoo clock.

  • Omfg i used to watch dis when i was little

    <3

  • 5:20: Hubba-wha?!

  • The part with the toilet in Molly's speech bubble was pretty hilarious..and then Loonette said, "Well, naturally."

  • That spot would be 1:35.

  • Lol "My Very Own Krunklebunker" xDD God i love you Loonette and molly ;D

  • Season 3, Episode 2.

  • I found the VHS title for this is Time-Out..and if this were Jeopardy! or Wheel of Fortune, this would be like a Before & After: It's About Time Out (It's About Time, Time Out).

  • i loved this show =3 I had the molly and the snicklefritz dolls. and i had a real cat i named snicklefritz. xDD

  • what happened to this girl's parents? doesnt she have a bed? when I was little I would always ask that lol

  • lol wen i was 4, i used to be scared of that dad with the black mustache in the foley house

  • i used to love this now i watch it with my 18 month old nephew

  • omg!! i used 2 LOVE this show...it was like my favorite show ever

  • my nephew loves this (hes 1 and a half)

  • Molly: (Thinks about Pizza)

    Loonette: Maybe later...

    That part's a little funny

  • The third version of the Clock Rug Stretch was the telling time version. I wish the second version of the Clock Rug Stretch (that was used in the episodes "Ping Pong Polka", "Juggling the Jitters", "Wrong Side of the Couch" and "I Feel Good") would be used in this episode and the other two which are "Monkey See, Monkey Do" and "Comfy and Joy", but it would be better to hear it though.

  • And "Comfy and Joy" used a different rendition of the music.

  • Yes, gameshowguy2000, this version is "Christmassy."

  • this is a good episode

  • i used 2 always watch this show!!!!

the only thing that would creep me out is the ppl in the doll house.

  • I REMEMBER WATCHING THIS WHEN I WAS LITTLE! :O good times e.e lol

  • this show is mad whack

  • I'm also looking for an episode. The one where major bedhead gets covered in mud.

  • That episode is "Stuck in the Muck".

  • thank you

  • You're welcome.

  • I'm Describing The Big Comfy Couch- Episode "Fishy". I Watched It When I Was Little. Please Upload It For Me Bubblebear83.

  • CUTE

  • i love the big comfy couch!! i used to watch it all the time when i was a little one....it brings back so many memories. watching this, i feel like i'm 5 or 6 years old again! :)

  • The third version of the clock rug stretch was also used in the episodes "Monkey See, Monkey Do" and "Comfy and Joy". It looks a little simaller to the second version.

  • i used to watch this show all the time this brings back alot of childhood memories

  • 1991

  • can you post the "gesundheit" episode of big comfy couch please??

  • I want to see that episode too.

  • wow...I am so pissed who ever changed the intro, while it's the classic episode with Auntie Macassar. Like little kids will think who is she? And where is Uncle Chester. LOL! The new series isn't the same anymore...

  • THE FOLLIES FAMILY

  • Granny Garbanzo is holding a sleepover in her garden. before Looonette can go over, she has to fix an alarm clock and give Molly a time-out. it turns out Granny has to give Snicklefritz a time-out of his own. but everyone shares in the sleepover, including Auntie Macassar, who brings an inflatable cot.

  • @Jennennett stop posting saying whats in the sidebar

  • I know Jennennett was so sorry, AdamB342isback.
