  • Marvelous stuff. Slick, glamorous, fun, an epic promo that put the other networks to shame and still stands up to the best of them anywhere in the world today. Channel Nine was a well-oiled machine back then that really knew what it was doing. Shame what's happened. And yes, as requested earlier, could someone PLEASE upload the Melbourne version?

  • No Max.. Noooooo

  • That Year, in Melbourne, in Early 1988 GTV-9, didn't show this instead they used the "Doing Our Best for Melbourne" campaign, still with the "Still The One" campaign.

  • They shot the promo in 1987.

  • love it

  • And why would Jo Pearson appeared in the 1988 Bicentennial id of Nine Network? Even through she then worked at GTV9 after leaving Ten in 87.

She then hosted Live at Five.

  • That's the Sydney version with Brian Henderson, where's the Melbourne version with Brian Naylor?

  • i feel so old now.

  • Doesn't "Still the One" get old after a while?

  • they should'nt wear out a good tagline

  • I have driven the tram at 2:52, she's a beauty at the tender age of 81 now :) Great vid thankyou :)

  • great promo - a real keeper & now 20 yrs old

  • I'm not sure if it was shown there, I recorded it in Sydney.

  • I take it this is the promo seen in Perth?

  • Isn't STW-9 Perth one of the call signs shown? With that I assume it might've

  • @IanGorton I think the point of showing the callsigns was that it emphasized that the network (at this time) owned all its capital city stations, backing the claim that they were the "National" Nine Network.
