i liked both versions for different reasons. i liked the 2008 one better because it had awesome action and epic diolouge. the 2003 version was cool because it talked ab out the inner rage in Banner and in all of us. i feel that the 2003 film shoould have come out later because at the time, all people cared about was action in movies and not serious human expirience issues. if the 2003 one came out in 2008 and the 2008 one came in 2003, people would be happier

2008 Hulk was so weird, I mean he turns into the hulk when his blood pressure goes up to a certain point??? WTF?? He couldnt even sleep with Liv Tyler cause of that :\.....In the comics it was just when he got mad, period. MAD not excited or a rise in blood pressure. 2003 was a very good hulk, some people just want to see a pop corn flick and the 2003 hulk wasnt that, it was so much more. So yeah :) Plus Eric Bana did a great Bruce.

To me HULK was the better film. It had depths, a story, a meaningful purpose, and in a way broke the fourth wall for superhero films. It was original. The only thing The Incredible Hulk had going for itself was that it had a connection to the 70's tv series. I liked that. And another thing, why do people complain so much about HULK being a little...sympathetic! Even in the 70's tv show the hulk was sympathetic. Just watch the episode "Ricky". In that episode hulk actually smiles.

08 version wuz the best, they didnt stick to him jus fighting machines, he was way more detailed and elaborate. I love that they incorperated various signature moves the hulk is known for, and I love how they didnt have to retell the entire story of how the hulk came to be, but by showing flashbacks you get an understanding of what happend to him an why he's running away

Comparing the strength of the two hulks, I actually think the 08 one was more impressive. The 03 one was physically stronger, as shown by throwing the tank and leaping miles at a time. But...you didn't look at the Hulk's form and feel he had that kind of capacity, so it just looked silly. With the 08 one, his strength looked more believable for his size and form, and he was a much more savage character...so you really FEEL how powerful and brutal the Hulk is supposed to be.

I agree. Also, the graphics of the '03 version, were a little more organic looking than the current version. The producers should have stayed w/ the technology that animated the Hulk in the 1st movie, but kept the defined muscle tone and veins of the 2nd film. The skin tone was better in the 1st one also. The 2nd film-while Way better in story plot-appeared to be a little too CG.

I'm very sorry, but I beg to differ. After all, the Hulk from the 2003 movie was a straight green. IMO, because 2008's Hulk had a darker shade of green, it looked more realistic. This is just my opinion. Please respect it.

Hulk 2008 is way better. For one, it feels like a comic book and is in fact, more in line with the comics than Hulk 2003. Also, Hulk 2008 is actually entertaining. It doesn't waste the first 45 minutes of the film explaining Banner's melodramatic, boring, made up backstory.
