I prefer the Genesis version of MK-II because Raiden's victory pose actually sounds like thunder, not the harmless little "zzzzzzzzz" on the SNES version.

Or...Shadow's spikes can somehow grow intensely (its Mortal Kombat so who cares), and then impale his opponent on them, leaving them on his back, unable to move, and Scorpion pulls of his mask to do a "Toasty!!"...Those fatalities workin' out for ya?
