@V67850 Hi! What are the two different systems? Actually, besides Ryan's Dynamic combat, which I will check out. I'm training Krav but I sometimes find incorporating the spear system very useful. Actually, the same move as the spear is used in krav in a couple of defenses. Thanks man!
Part II : Hit first is always best. However for surprise, Ryan's Dynamic combat was before the spear. He calls his the power shield. Its the exact same concept. But he also teaches the shield. An example of that can be seen on the ufc, " Big country" uses it to defend against skilled strikers. Another visual example of it , is the current Batman in the movies--he does it.
There are also two other,-- entirely different --simple advanced defense mechanisms.
Great video! Want to win a street fight? Look up all the illegal UFC (or MMA) rules and do them lol. Anything dangerous or crippling is illegal in the UFC and those are the very things you should do to survive an attack.
@yyportne True. The very things Blauer shows are gross motor & does not involve complex motor skills which is what is most done in UFC and other sporting events such as that. You learn this stuff, literally, in minutes and can make it applicable @ seminar or class's end. From anyone onto anyone. There is no other system or art that can say that. Not bashing, just stating. I have done traditional to eclectic to combatives &I can honestly say this system is great. Including physiology & psych
@yyportne "Great video! Want to win a street fight? Look up all the illegal UFC (or MMA) rules and do them lol. Anything dangerous or crippling is illegal in the UFC and those are the very things you should do to survive an attack." I cannot agree you more. Everything you said is absolutely true.
But a good defense mechanism is vital as well, for those sudden, unexpected
rage-based, ---surprise---attacks. But people need to know this is not the only good one for that.
p.s.The other two are from two entirely different systems.
Its good to study various systems, like Bruce Lee advocated.

@FranLesPaul Greetings! The fact that you noticed a relationship between the spear
and the 360 defense, shows that you are a serious martial artist--well done. The other one is called windmill strikes by some Karate systems.
Its circular knife-hand strikes to the arms.Inner, and outer.Keysi is the other. Although, I do not care for that one very much.

One of them is extremily little known.
