Pokemon pogs!! Sweet. lol I never knew anything about Pokemon, but now I feel like I couldn't know more. I'm not sure if I should thank you for that or not. haha
It's cool to see that you still have all your Pokémon things, if I hadn't given all my figurines and stuff away, my video could have been a bit better :P
I used to have like 100 cards or more and we used to play with them at school, I was like in 5th grade or something. I only liked the original series, when they started adding more and more new pokemons, I stopped watching. My favorite ones was Charizard and Alakazam and those legendary ones. Ahh I want my cards back , this brings up so many memories.
I liked the original pokemon but when it went to gold/silver I gave up. It was just repetitive. But whats funny is I revisited gold last year, so it only took me about .. 8 years to beat that haha. My 6 pokemon I liked to train were bulbasaur, pidgey, gyrados, clafairy, flareon, gengar. My first game was blue, then tried gold, and in 2004 bought green.
all my childhood time was with only one TV channel and they never broadcast Pokemon but i remember the commercials and they had snack surprises with this cartoon characters; I think i only remember a yellow thing which I [googled] and i discovered that it has a name: Pikachu.
so .... yes, I grew up with other type of cartoons but from the same country as Pokemon. Bye
DUDE! I loved pokemon! My favorites were Oddish, Charizard, Ghastly, and Slopoke. I never had the pokemon pogs though. I played pokemon blue, red, gold, and sapphire and collected the cards too.
I remember those days when I wished Pokemon was real. We also used to have those round thingies, but we called them pogs. (not sure if we have them in Norway, I spent my childhood in another country)
And I had a pokemon game when Gameboys were all new and everything. Everyone wanted to borrow it until they got those newer coloured Gameboys, lol
I used to play with tazos, but here we called them pogs, and I didn't have Pokemon. They were just random images or cartoons of skulls and things, and we played with slammers to flip the pogs over. Slammers were heavier and made of metal or plastic. It was fun for about a week, but video games were better.
f*ck yes i had a bunch of those chip things
