  • zoom out when taping,,bullshit

  • 150 to 0 in 5 secs and OMFG THIS BITCH CAN GO REVERSE BY ITS SELF...NO OTHER PLAN CAN DO THAT

  • how many fucking wheels does it need lol

  • Flight Control system must of been pissed, something like this. .... Pull Up .... Pull Up .... Pull Up .... Altitude Low .... Altitude Low .... Altitude Low .... Altitude Low ....Bank Angle to steep ....Bank Angle to steep ....Bank Angle to Steep ....MOTHER FUCKER PULL UP BEFORE I SMASH YOU ASS INTO A MOUNTAIN.
  • OVNI 1:10

  • @bentancort hahahaha chill out bro, take a closer look, thats a bird. (may be dangerous if it gets to close to the plane´s engines.)

  • @bentancort i saw it.

  • really good , try mine ? , BenNewsonPlanes

  • fucking head blocking at the start!

  • The take off was impressive...but that landing was hella bad ass! :D

  • oq é aquilo que passa perto da assa esquerda do aviao aos 1:10? seria um ovine?

  • im sure all of his lights r on shutup beepers AND DONT SINK DONT SINK and when he had his landing gaer down tht was sweet

  • I hear a B-52 @ 5:00

  • Not Impressive.......now if they rolled it......

Or at the end parallel parked it into a tight parking space WITH a women pilot..... ;-)

  • Damn, it's too maneuverable for it's size... Like the A-400m... Amazing machine.

  • I wanna fly with him. :D

  • That landing is amazing.

  • Thumbs up if the Air Force is badass :D

  • C-17s are so awesome! The ability to land on short runways like the C-130 with the payload of a C-5 is just...oh, man!

    Too cool for school!

  • Damn.... those things can maneuver....

  • *-----*

  • One flew right over my head today when put walking the dogs it was about to land at Newcastle airport (uk) it looked like it was only going like 50 mph above me huge engine sound also :)

  • i want to see a reverse take off

  • Is this the new c-130 ?

  • @Askalijupaa No. It's too big. Too expensive. It's more a successor to C-141 and a supplement to C-5.

It's very difficult to improve on the basic C-130. The outcome every time seem to be: "why don't we make a new C-130 version instead, with new engines and avionics?"

  • @Vermiliontea Ah ok in Belgium we have a new 'version'(i think) of the c-130, its called the A400M.

  • @Askalijupaa Lol. No, I know the Airbus A400M is a new European aircraft. It tries to avoid direct competition with C-130 by being 50% larger (payload weight). It has not been exactly a smash hit. In development since early 80'ies, it's very expensive for the countries participating in the project. I think cost overruns are like above €10 billion. To add problems, many potential customers have cancelled orders to purchase C-130J instead.

  • @Vermiliontea you are very good in this stuff, Are you from the army? xD

  • it's nice to see the mother of the a400...

  • The C17 is pretty ugly (though a great transport). It might just steal the name BUFF from the B52.

  • Phenomenal piece of Boeing engineering...

  • i got to ride in one of these planes

  • @Red1676 i got to go in one at an airshow on saturday then it took off and went to its base in alaska.

  • Do a barrel roll!

  • 1:23 sounds so freaky

  • I was on the 1100 block of 2nd Ave. in Asbury Park delivering Rte. 9 today when I heard the rumbling engines of a low flying plane. When I looked up I was surprised to see a C-17 flying over Asbury Park which is unusual because their normal flight path is further south to Maguire AFB. And growing up in Howell, NJ the C-141's going in and out of Maguire would sometimes fly right over the house in Winston Park. During the Yom Kippur War in 73' C-141's were flying in and out night and day.

  • I am a lady but: i love this fat bird's body moving-flying around so lightly esp taking off and landing with that immediate stop- USAF rules! I wish I could just sit at the back of the cockpit wooooooooooof

  • can this jerk me off

  • O cara manobra o avião como um Skyline.

  • from 0.22 to 0.25 it looks like a midget plane

  • Very cool plane.

  • The C 17 are the bad boys of the sky : )

  • NOW ! im i going mad or did anyone else see it ! TRANSMITTED on UK TV was america has talent ! and a young girl entered her self SMALL VERY ATTRACIVE , they asked her and what do you do she RELPIED IM A C17 PILOT DID U SEE IT ! or was i lacking sleep !

  • goddamn that thing is huge!

  • I think it's the most beautiful cargo plane in the world.

  • beautiful machine

  • I like this plane and I like cheese burger?

  • Amazing airplane!

  • How can it go backwards? Are the wheels powered? Or is there some kind of mechanism in the jet engines?

  • @Arthashat it's called reverse thrust. Engine thrust is temporarily redirected forward. Look at the engines at 8:11 to 8:30 and you'll see the pilot places the inboard engines in reverse thrust again. The engine appears to split apart somewhat.

  • Good quality, what camera you used for recording?

  • just add some guns to this bitch :P

  • @angelEODspartan You and yer guns... =P

  • wow that gigantic succer slowed to a stop almost immediately!!

  • those things.... are just so fucken HUGE

  • @Bostoneats22 im sorry but i had to (thats what she said)

  • the things i could do with just one of those engines

  • the bullshark of transport planes

  • I wonder what it feels like to tilt it, knowing that all that movement is because of your hand

  • @CRHAYNES123 thats just like saying i wonder what it feels like to fall over know all that pain was influenced by a crack on the pavement / sidewalk :) :P

  • fuck off thats an xXAC130Xx a rather large 1 to

  • @SuperRetardedPENGUIN First of all it has jet engines so it's not an AC-130, 2nd. It doesn't have a guns on it so it's not an AC-130, 3rd. AC-130's are not allowed to fly during the day.

  • NOT AS BAD AS THE G6...like a G6

  • bigger a130 or not ?

  • that is one big bad ass boy

  • there goes everyones tax money.

  • It looks like its pregnant..

  • the amazing thing about a C-17 if you have ever seen one you will know what im talking about, but the C-17 if really Stubby it seems really small and bunched and that is why it is such a magnificent sight.

  • was this at area 51? it looked like it

  • @playerdepimp have you been there before?

  • @akkadianno naah but i have watched the show ufo hunters on the history channel, and their is this ledge or land formation were at night and early morning you can see all of area 51, (with binoculars) it is a great view but then again it's only tv

  • @playerdepimp I think it couldn´t be Area 51, the guards dont let us make a video of it.

  • @akkadianno indeed thats true

  • @akkadianno yeah cause everything is top secret

  • The question is.....Will It Blend?

  • i bet all lights were going of in his cockpit :D

  • @dunnobutwayne that was actually pretty normal for a C17. They're made for short takeoff's and landings. They pull up that steep of an angle to avoid missile locks in hostile territory

  • EMERGENCY AIRDROP ON THE WAY!!

  • @fireshot22 Your talking about a c 130

  • Nice job on the camera.

  • Great plan for Little airports. Cant stop a C172 much faster

  • Could you imagine this...being the new AC-130 Gunship?

    Good lord

  • @rexius13 thatd be awesome!

  • @rexius13 you mean AC-17 gunship

  • they should replace the c-130s

  • @marybob321 No way, C-130's are great just the way they are besides, turbo props are more safer than jet engines. A jet plane is like a bomb.

  • C-5 Galaxy is way cooler....C-141 was too....

  • gonna need a lid for my coffee on takeoff..

  • it still amazes me every time i see a large airplane lift off. honestly look how fecking huge those things are.

  • actually it can make a cheeseburger...the convection ovens we have on the acft will cook anything

  • Do they normally pull up that quickly? Or showing off for the spectators?

  • @psadpoiafsdf shame it didnt stall and fucking plant into the crowd .....dissapointed , oh well

  • @psadpoiafsdf i think they do it all the time ...

  • @psadpoiafsdf Both, the aircraft is design to take off on short runways, landing in a hostile zone you won't find 2 mile long strips or humanitarian ops in rural areas. The design of the aircraft allows it to operate through small, austere airfields. The C-17 can take off and land on runways as short as 3,000 feet (914 meters) and only 90 feet wide (27.4 meters).

  • that is one huge fat bitch of a plane xD

  • it turns so quickly

  • this is on my Christmas list this year

  • That plane is so sexy.

  • I wana fly this plane soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad

  • AC-130s dad

  • At 3:30 you can here the wake turbulance!!

  • ahhhhh somebuddies head

  • Thumbs up if you think C-17's are badass

  • @angelsfan4 thumbs up if a c5 is more badass

  • @forevergamerKC27 I saw a KC-135 next to a C-5 and the C-5 could eat the KC-135 and still have room for more

  • @angelsfan4 dude I got in the cockpit of a C-17 and it was sweet

  • @yoyoyoyoshua i got in the cockpit of one last saturday at the reno air races and it was sick

  • @angelsfan4 yeah I live north of where they are based and sadly once a year they will fly over my house.

  • @angelsfan4 Ones of the most amazing aircraft ever build...even with the size of that aircraft it can land in 1200 ft. holy crap

  • we are awsome

  • thats a huge T-tail

  • bit of SRV in the background

  • this is why i salute to every engineers that ever lived and will ever live.

  • Its a plane muscle-mania

  • i love these planes

  • i guess not only humans can be fat, but planes too! xD

  • @SoniThePwneR but fucking powerfull xp

  • woah

  • I always liked the older C-141 better they have more class

  • thats one big ass plane

  • but can it make me a cheese burger?

  • @altops lol

  • @altops

No. Nothing will ever be able to except a woman.

  • @altops yes....yes it can

  • Just aviation lovers understand the pleasure of watching such a footage. I am an aviation lover since I was a child. Dream on the day I will get my pilot license...I am a woman close to my 50's. Have a special attention towards the C-17 Globemaster III. It is a great military aircraft and seens to play with "G-Forces". Aircrafts seem to have proper life. As a physical body they really do, but the brain on and behind it is human. Great project!

Keep up the good work Boeing!!!

    Brazil on line.

  • 5 dislikes? I dont understand whats there to dislike? If your not a aviation fan why would you click and watch this? Fuckn idiots.

  • wow it is FAT!!

  • @CMDai1 hahahhah damn right! xD

u see, even planes can be fat

  • that plane looks scary

  • Beast.

  • it may land on an aircraft carrier!us rocks!

  • Awesome... now do something interesting with all the fuel your wasting. ¬¬

  • the landing is short...why is it reversing after landing?

  • looks like a chowd...

  • What a beastly plane.

  • the most beautiful flying beast in the world!!!!! powerfull and sexyy!!

  • i really just said "damn" when it lifted off

  • If Ionly had one of these instead of a C-124, Less Shaking. LOL

  • They taking apps for Globemaster III pilots?!!

  • usa rules - forever...

  • What a landing !

  • Abduction by ufo.

  • Thats a big bitch hope to catch a ride her when I go for loadmaster and if not the ac130 gunship for aerial gunner

  • @256dallas I just visited an Air Force recruiter actually, for in flight jobs they said Id be waiting like a year and even then I might still have to wait to get into bootcamp. But who knows she didnt really check. I am not impressed with the Air Force recruiters at all to be honest.

  • @aow4321 Agred man they reallly suck if u get a reservist try to get an active duty recruiter and if u make weight and pass the asvab then they wanna talk trust me they will knock ur door down just how the world works man i felt the same way and they did my brother way until they saw his asvab scores

  • Another fine demo from the varsity fliers of heavy airlift. California Style Heavy Airlift, Local 729AS, March ARB, CA.

    "Set Climb Power"

    "300 Feet, Stable"

  • damn beautiful plane how fast does it goes ?

  • 'The Flying Elephant'

  • @SanAndreaStunter It kind of looks like shamo out water at sea world myself.

  • Dumb, getting very close to a ulgy stall.

  • wow, you may be correct. Are you a C-17 pilot?

  • I got to see these up close and personal! Great plane, but may never replace the C-130!

  • That's not a fair statement! The c-17 is not intended for the same things as the c-130. The c-130, being a propeller plane, can land in dirt without fear of rocks in the engine, and because of its size requires only a short runway. The c-17 is used for larger amounts of cargo on a paved runway to established places! There will always be a need for both kinds, if not specifically the current model!

  • In the 1970s, the US Air Force began looking for a replacement for the C-130 Hercules tactical airlifter. The Advanced Medium STOL Transport (AMST) competition was held, with Boeing proposing the YC-14, and McDonnell Douglas proposing the YC-15, which became the C-17.

  • original purpose was to replace the C-130, but the project was cancelled and soon after the C141 replacement project came along which was perfect for the YC-15. If the 141s were refurbed and still flying, the C-17 probably wouldn't exist

  • Not so sure I agree with you SporkMan. The 141 was a bad ass, but referb or not, I think the C-17 would still be flying! I kinda miss the old 141!! : (

  • nice airplane and awesome sound!!!!

  • Absolutely insane!!

  • this looks like edwards air base (wentt o there airshow like a 3-4 months ago)i live near them

  • WOW !!! Heavy was making 50% banks, flybys. I thought it was great when the pilot pull down the geer !!! In the short amount of air heavy was GREAT !! I loved the landing also and when the place did full reverse engines, WOW ! Great Vid man Rock on !!

  • we're now busy with a Globemaster demo on fsx.

    excellent flying and filmjob

  • C 17 good airlift performance. The USAF,RAF, RAAF and others fly it.

The Indian Air Force just placed an order for 10 C 17s'.

70 ton payload over good distance is awesome to say the least.

  • We had one of these from the Alaska National Air Guard come down to New Zealand for the RNZAF Airshow at Whenuapai Airbase. I dwarfed everything that we had, and when it flew they took it right down below the tree line. Its amazing how somthing so big can just disapear into the landscape. I got to go inside and climb up and have a look around the cockpit and sit in the pilots seats. Its one badass aircraft and the female Captian that flew it was a hot bonde ;)

  • these planes are MASSIVE i'v eflown in a few of them from charleston air base to ramsein. for some reason the passenger seats on the second deck are facing backwards, kinda different during take off to be thrown forward.. and they are also known for catching their engines on fire.. but i always arive safely.. god bless our troops..

  • I live less then a mile from a MAC Air Force Base. There are many c17's in and out of the base, There isn't much this plane CAN'T Do! An amazing machine!

  • Very very good plane

  • A live right under a C - 17 globemasters flight path. They fly by everyday for about 3-5hours every 20mins. Pretty cool to see them. My favorite plane in the usaf is the c17

  • I did not resist to make a comment. I can't believe that mens could do this kind of ship. It looks like a UFO made by Alliens. I can't believe that mens can pilot them.

  • i dont know why but when i see this plane the only name that comes into my mind is BIG BETTY they gotta paint that on the side of this C-17 cause this baby is BIGGG

  • what is its top speed
