this is one of the better snowplow videos i've ever watched . the music is great and this shows alot of the stress that drivers have to put up with clearing the snow for everyone. they may hit a mailbox or do some other minor damage for the most part but they are out there and working long hours to try to keep those roads passable. thank them once in a while.
Great pairing of music and video! I'm sure we don't get as nearly as much snow out here in IA but we do get our fair share - I responded with my own vid. Thanks again!
I drive a Sterling too for the city of Montreal, Mercedes powered, automatic, blade under the truck with salt spreader on the driver side. Great truck, a joy to drive. Great vid 5 stars!
You like those belly plows? The City of Hamilton where I live has some of them and they suck. Similar set up to most of the newer trucks are Sterling all with MBE power and Allison auto. All with Viking proline U salter bodies with single driver side and dual spinners. Under belly plows and 12" and 14" 2 way blade on front, some have 11" wings while others have no wings, just the front ot under plow!
I saw in your info that it's Syracuse. I miss the snow. I learned how to drive in that weather. Anyone remember the blizzard of 66? Six feet of snow over night. I was in 1st grade then. We had a whole month off for Christmas break. I thought it was great! But with the way you guys plow today you'd have the roads cleared in no time.
My mother always talked about that blizzard every winter! everyone said they didn't know it was coming and they woke up to snow all the way to just about the roof!
It`s Viking plow gear with a Tarco Sander. I love the Viking quick connect for the oneway and the 4 pin plowframe hookup. It only takes about 10 minutes to remove the plowframe/wingtower for the summer. Have you had many electrical problems with your Sterling?
Excellent job! great editing too! 5 stars man! I wish more people would make some snowplow vids like this! Gets boring looking at an F250 pushing snow cause that about all thats on youtube!
