Technique is really....strange. Musically it all makes sense though.  Eh...kind of compulsive....He never takes a moment to actually lay down a beat or any form of "basis" to his ramblings on the kit. It's just noise. Around 2:50ish he starts to play something that resembles a beat, but he quickly goes back into his erratic motions. xP It works...it's just not very good.
