  • Will a man rob God im j/k

  • Ha, like the vid. I remember when someone mentioned tithing on net and I asked where the bible said 10% after taxes.... its great to want to obey God but resist the urge to hold back. 10% of gross is what God asks of you, but do so cheerfully and willingly, not holding a grudge.

  • OMG this is too funny :) I am sending this to all my friends

    endless tax deduction LOL

  • really good lil skit . tithe is to be on your increase, anything GOD increases you with . be it another day to you life or GOD blessing you with a free meal . its more than given 10 % of your paycheck . GOD dont need money . he needs us to be faithfull and trust him , than we can be his hands and he can bless others through us . everyday is a gift from GOD do you give back 2 hr 40 min everyday doing somthing for him or in prayer or reading his word ????

  • What?????

  • Dude thats horrible! ha yea its funny, im only saying this coz im a ministry leader.. but the tithes do go to or church ministrys, we need them to perform the different services we provide.. i do apprshiate humor tho. .

  • funny joke there about the Catholic, the Prostant and the Jew.

  • The number of people who continue to post here just amazes me. I appreciate those of you who appreciate humor. Those of you who come on here trying to "educate" all of us on Old Testament law, please save your fingers. I don't think anyone really pays attention to you anyway. But if it makes you feel better then go ahead...

  • Reminds me of a joke.

A Catholic, a Protestant and a Jew are discussing tithing. They draw a circle in chalk on the pavement below them.

The Catholic says: "We should take the money and throw it in the air, and whatever lands inside the circle, we give to God."

The Protestant says: "No, we should throw it in the air and whatever lands outside the circle we give to God."

The Jew says: No, we throw it in the air; whatever God wants, He keeps!

  • Why do churches tell us to obey only one commandment from the Old Testament? They do not tell us not to eat pork, not to wear clothes with mixed fabrics, to stone blasphemers, not to cut the edges of our beard.

Oh, I know why, because we are no longer under the law and because MONEY IS THE ROOT OF MANY EVILS! Including lying to church members about tithing!

Rev21:8 All liars will have their part in the lake of fire.

But Greed is as the sin of idolatry so give to the poor and needy."

  • @jforsy01 Why dont they talk about all the other OT commandments...because those aren't profitable! The institutional church and all it's "Programs" and Committees and buildings and signs and advertisements cost a lot of money, not to mention the pastors gracious salary and all the associate pastors, the "worship" leader, pre-school lady, oh...the youth pastor, the custodian, the maint. man, and anyone else I forgot to mention and then after the loan installment is paid...not much left

  • @MrDaddyO8

Church has become a big lucrative business endover. Everyone has to get paid!!!

  • Wow, never thought of that.

    I'll call P&R Lucer today.

    Thanks.

  • The curse is not tithing. The curse was not willing to tithe. Christ came to remove that curse.

The Lord himself said it was a blessing to sow your tithes to reap a bountiful harvest. Read that chapter again.

"Telling people they are going to be under a curse for not tithing." Wrong answer, I agree.

Telling people they are under a curse is why they cant tithe, is the right answer.

Not going to be cursed, is cursed for not being able or willing to tithe.

  • We forget that God loves a cheerful GIVER! God's people are not to be compelled to pay the building payment or the utilities but we are free to give... cheerfully!

  • @norrisonian

    Amen!

  • "We are located on the corner of root and all evil" I laughed so hard. Thanks for posting.

  • lmbo

  • This guy seriously needs to read his bible . Instead of making excuses just admit that you dont trust that God Almighty can provide for you. Stop taking scripture out of context and pray to God for a revelation on Tithing, it will open the windows of heaven on your life .!!!!

  • This guy seriously needs to get a dictionary and look up the word "satire."

  • this preacher is right on no more tithing, please read the book " THE LIE OF THE TITHE". areal eyeopener. any preacher who teaches tithing is a hell bound liar. deliver people from the greed gospel.

  • Did you read the description?

    Category: Comedy

This is the third time I've posted that tonight.

  • @haddow100 He's only doing a comedy skit by Isaac Air Freight. This is called illustrating absurdity by being by being absurd. In other words, this is just roleplay. I'm sure he's a serious tither just like we are.

  • @haddow100

Why are you judging this guy ? you don't know what kind of relationship he has with the Lord? we are in the New Testement we give freely as the Holy Spirit leads us? Right now the Spirit is leading me to pay my bills first.

  • The law is not void . If you correctly read scripture in stead of taking what you want and leaving what you don't want, then you would know that Jesus said he came to "Fulfill" the law not to get rid of it.

  • Jesus said he came to fufill the law (bring it to completion) . He also said "not one jot will pass from the law until ALL BE FUFILLED". When will all be fufilled? Answer: at the cross. Jesus was telling those who was still under the law that he did'nt come to get rid of the law until he fufill his purpose at the cross to bring in a better covenant called GRACE. Jesus fufilled his purpose already at the cross so since grace is now here; we're no longer under the law. Galatians 3 says it all.

  • I don't have animals or food to tithe...do you? Tithe was never money even though they had money. Yes Jesus did abolish those who were under the law and set us free to grace. We can now give freely from our hearts instead of out of obligation or fear of condemnation from God.

  • In my own perspective I think tithes is refering to what God loves, and that is Glory, and secondly it said the 1st 10% of your increases. Does this also refer to people who don't have money? I think God accepts all increase that is given unto the kindom, for the good though those that seek him. 10%, could mean the first 10% of your day you should worship God and give him the glory that you awoke to serve another day.

Mark 4:14 The sower soweth the word.

  • Is tithing biblical? Yes. Does it mean you are a bad person if you don't? No. Search the scripture, allow God's Word to speak, and follow his leadership. And in the meantime try to smile because this video is funny.

  • @bisbell4 Here's the thing - it's not one of the Ten Commandments. Besides,

as Christians - we're FREE and NOTHING is held against us, least of all

tithing. I do, however, believe that there are extra financial blessings that come

with giving - regardless of the amount.

  • I think it is interesting how this topic causes so much heated reaction - both in the negative and the positive. Personally, I don't care if you tithe or not. I am not the judge. The video is a recreation of a sketch written some 30 years ago, and it isn't meant to change anyone's mind about tithing. At best it is a reminder to those who have made the commitment that it is one they should keep.

  • Its funny how churches today implement old testament teaching to their advantage. Tell me why is it we refused to hold God's Sabbath, uphold food laws and etc, but the "Christian church" still preaches about tithing?? Hmmm? I though these Christians say the law is VOID now?? Well isn't that convenient.

  • This was funny bur seriously people please give your tithes. Do not give your tithes because someone told you you have to, rather give your tithes because you love God and have faith that he will supply all your needs Peace.

  • So will it show I love Him more if I give 20%, 40% or why not 80%? . . . Tithing is Old Covenant teaching. We give because it's our nature to, we're under grace . . .

  • It is not our nature to give-infact our nature is selfish.

It is GODS nature to give-He gave his Son to die for Us, we have never guven anything to God because all is from Him.

I bet you don't give any tithes at all so why are you even talking.

  • we dont give God money, foreskin, body, and any other physical. we give him our 100% spiritual selves to him and he will blessed us sooooo much, we could not handle it. Show me in the bible where god told us to tithe in the new testement with money?

  • GREAT

  • are you a pastor?

  • I am the student minister at a church in Paducah, KY.

  • I have been enjoying watching tithing videos. The first I heard to talk about "not tithing" was Benny Hinn. My mother loved to watch him and I overheard him talking about that one time. Very interesting. I especially like this concept. We need to be more light-hearted.

  • Funny. check out the spoof video for Barna's PAGAN CHRISTIANITY. Hilarious!

  • Brilliant! How have these rats gotten away with this for so long????????

  • Hmmmm... makes one notice the deception. I liked it very much. Especially your address "at the corner of Root and Evil" God Bless you in your ministry.

  • Nice!

    Isaac Air Freight rocks!
