First encountered this on one of our listener-sponsored radio stations, on a show that the station's bigwigs obviously couldn't get behind, because the DJ would play (for example) Throbbing Gristle, Charlie Parker, the Stylistics, Merle Haggard, and an old tape of the DJ's parrot playing with an empty band-aid tin in a set. This is so obviously the Beatles' "I Should Have Known Better", and I think it's great that the Skatalites got away with giving the song a completely new (and cool) title!

I searched so long for the orginal in my brain - it's "I should have known" from the Beatles. I listened to it some minutes before here in Berlin.
