I witnessed Avalon on June 5th in Homestead PA. Broken Road turned me on to it but 7 Years tuned me straight into it, Sully's done something wonderful with this album.
I've loves godsmack since I was 8. Gotta admire somebody who seems like the music to him is more than just the money he makes. He really puts his spirit into his music, and that's what makes him so incredible.
This album is an amazing creation on so many levels. It's heart wrenching, healing, inspiring, spiritual, and shows the love of a proud father. Sully and all involved have created an absolute masterpiece...an album to listen to start to finish, with no urge to hit skip. That's rare today. There is a lot of my life in this song. To be able to touch a person you have never met, across hundreds or thousands of miles, is talent that many would give everything to have.

@BronsenRasmussen i listen to godsmack everyday, and i also listen to sullys solo album every day, it is a very good album and it doesn't feel like anything is missing. the band went off and did their side project, and sully did his own as well. he made an amazing album and i have no clue why you would even get those feelings from it.
I also listen to Godsmack everyday. Sully pours his heart and soul into every song. We hear it with each song from Godsmack. He goes balls out time and time again. His solo work is nothing short of amazing. It is in no way anything that would resemble Godsmack, but it still has the same intensity. Instead of screaming his head off, he sings the lyrics with a deep passion that anyone can feel. I would say that Sully alone most definitely feels right. I just don't want him to go solo for good.

@BronsenRasmussen i listen to godsmack everyday, and i also listen to sullys solo album every day, it is a very good album and it doesn't feel like anything is missing. the band went off and did their side project, and sully did his own as well. he made an amazing album and i have no clue why you would even get those feelings from it.

I also listen to Godsmack everyday. Sully pours his heart and soul into every song. We hear it with each song from Godsmack. He goes balls out time and time again. His solo work is nothing short of amazing. It is in no way anything that would resemble Godsmack, but it still has the same intensity. Instead of screaming his head off, he sings the lyrics with a deep passion that anyone can feel. I would say that Sully alone most definitely feels right. I just don't want him to go solo for good.
