I quit after I've seen some of the content of Cata, they made it to easy. (here comes the "you never did Harmode" comments) Level 60 when you had some nice gear everyone looked up to you, now ur just an other noob with gear everyone has. Nice epics bro....

I'm pretty sure you couldn't carry stupid people then. 40 man I seem to remember that the fights in Naxx were designed to be executed near perfectly, you lose one person on progression fights have fun trying to beat the enrage timer (safety dance comes to mind, thadius as well).

@Leonniket This is supposed to be Based in Northrend (whether or not its actually based at icecrown can be questioned) Northrend is where Kel'thuzad found himself after being cast out from the Kirin'tor, the reason it looks like Winterspring is because back then blizz didnt have a model for Northrend, so they worked with what they had at the time

don't know about others, but the reason I liked it was exactly because of what you said; it was so hard that hardly anyone got to see it. When you DID clear everything before it (MC,BWL,AQ40) and progressed in naxx; it felt really great! Now you just don't get that anymore. Everyone can clear FL, a lot of guilds can clear FL hc, ... Many people say that in vanilla crappy players got carried; yeah, gl with that in this version of naxx ;)

@bigspillie honestly, most people didn't give a crap about mechanics or talent perfection. nowadays, you don't get into any random group without perfect enchants and gems. tons of guides, not only for raids themselves, but for class mechanics, rotations, talent discussions and many more make the game incredibly difficult. if you want a hard game, don't read guides and figure it out on your own. don't blame the game if people choose an easier path that was not availiable back then

I made lots of gold on this patch the first 2-3 days of its release.... those dark scraps, core of element , etc items the volcano in ungoro droped the core of elements alot plus fire elemental so i farmed and made tons of gold in this opportunity of a lifetime :)

@Coops025 Wow didnt die and lose its way, the only reason ppl think that is if u been playing since vanilla wow then how long was that... 6 years.... well in 6 years things are starting to get dull... cuz with a mmo for the most part its grind to max lvl and do whatever dungeons there is to get gear.... next expansion... repeat.... after 3 expansions its really old but back in vanilla, we werent sick of that grind YET... now we are but are blaming blizzard when they cant do anything about that.

It just wasnt as Involved/connecting to the player. Good content is good, no matter what time peroid

Firelands, Ulduar, Icecrown Citadel, they are MIND BLOWING raids. In naxx, the most interesting fight was Thaddius, where you had to keep switching sides depending on what debuff you had. In Ulduar, you got to fight a super-powered tank in tanks of your own, took down a guy so big it was an effort to bring down his arms alone, do battle with an old god who took you into his very mind. Blizzard has gotten better, but you guys are so stubborn that you can't look at the now and say "that's awesome"

Now, after doing every raid there is for six years, to you whiny trolls, a new raid with new models, new fights, new lore, new everything is just considered nothing in comparison to the old, outdated raids whose most interesting mechanic was "pull boss in X direction when Y happens"...

@Relyt1378....1 they never took out cc ppl just werent smart enuff to use it and any system that allows you to get raid geared without ever having to step foot in a raid is a broken system.....because it opens the gate for scrubs.......and your right for at least one point wotlk pvp.......season 8 at least was great.....but when you compare the raids to say zulaman.....which was still not easy for t6 raiders to say ulduar...the most nerfed raid of all time or original naxx za original naxx win

@WhyBeAStranger It is true that cc was never removed, but that WOTLK made it unnecessary. It wasn't because people weren't smart enough... it was just because no one needed to do it. Cataclysm has changed that and several encounters and mobs require CC as apposed to AoE fest. Also, the current badge system is actually pretty good. It takes a respectable effort to acquire the gear you need and it is a tier below current content. This allows players to catch up, but not trivialize current content.
