  • I think this is the band that has creed from the office.

  • Notice the drummer' s snare drum, he smashes it so hard it gets tilted at the end!

  • Back in junior high school I had a band with Reggie Knighton who later joined the Grass Roots. When I was 8 my guitars teachers son later joined the Eagles. (Tim Schmit) And in high school a senior in our class, Craig Chaquico joined up with my English teacher Jack Traylor, and formed Steelwind. Then later he joined Starship.

That's as close as I got.

  • When you think of the 60's you think of song's like this.

  • 1960,s no one is going to beat this music

  • I got this song on a 3 inch flexi disc they gave away inside boxes of cereal. And Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl". Both songs sounded great on a flexi disc.

Both songs still sound great. It really sucks to be in a position to have to sing this one, though.

  • One of my favorite songs as a child. Still love it. Classic.

  • Greatest music and greatest decade ever...the '60's!

  • @saunders49: Nah - the 70's!!

  • always loved these guys. I was always told there was a Canadian connection can anybody fill \me in on this, I grew up with these guys, saw them many times.

  • That organ is black magic. Crazy black magic

  • Tash-man

  • LOVE this song and the Grassroots!

  • Everyone of their songs remind me of different girls I feel in love with as a teen..;o)

  • This song came out before I was born. My Dad had this LP, and I listened to it all the time. Yeah, I liked the music of my time... Nirvana, Peter Murphy, Love & Rockets, Ramones, etc., but I love the Grass Roots! No kidding, I made a dub of this on cassette, and it got passed around to some of my friends, who in turn dubbed it and loved it as well. I was born in '74. My favorite is 'Let's Live For Today'. It's a shame so few have viewed this vid.

  • No kidding, this song is just as good now as it was then. It was a big hit in 1969 when I was a Senior in high school. And, yea, I was born in 1950.

  • gimme a Time Machine set for 1962, and throw the key away,.,how l wished to have lived around the 60's. dang...nowadays music is only garbage...only few exceptions...thx for posting this!

  • @RobertoGaspar69 The statement you made about the time machine struck a chord in me...I was 11 yr's old when the first Beatle Record came out I was there at the right age for all of it,14 yr's old the first Cream record that's when I started playing the guitar then Hendrix,69 was the first Zeppelin record my life had been changed for ever.I'm so thankful I was born when I was.Hope I didn't bore you thought you might like to hear it.Take it easy.
