Sometimes the batsman will be given out, when he didn't hit it, or it wasn't LBW for example, and unless the review system is in place, bad luck. The bowler isn't going to overturn the decision.
The same principle applies to being incorrectly given 'not out'. If he's erroneously given not out, why should he have to correct the umpire, if the bowlers don't?

You take the good and the bad decisions from the umpire.
Sometimes the batsman will be given out, when he didn't hit it, or it wasn't LBW for example, and unless the review system is in place, bad luck. The bowler isn't going to overturn the decision.
The same principle applies to being incorrectly given 'not out'. If he's erroneously given not out, why should he have to correct the umpire, if the bowlers don't?
It's certainly not cheating.

Tendulkar is never a regular walker. Look at the 2007 ODI series between India and Australia in India. He was let off for 2 edges against Brett Lee and he didn't walk. Even a plumb LBW was not given.

I think you might have gone a bit over the top with the whole description and all with this one. Walking is a personal choice and I think if I were to say the majority don't walk I wouldn't be far of the mark. If the umpire who is adjudicating the game says you're not out then your going to want to stay there because what about the next decision where you middle it onto your pad and get given out LBW??
