Awesome riding! Sweet video. I'm 15, and I'm riding DH trails on a 2.5" hardtail Gary Fisher Marlin. Wish I had the kind of money for a downhill bike. Props man, I couldn't do that anywhere near as fast as you did!

i think hardtails are better 1. lower overall weight and less complicated mechanism that can fuck up during a race. 2. the power is delivered directly as opposed to dually where there's a few seconds while the arm travels. and like this MAN proved here a few seconds here and there can win you a race just fine without some...rear trash. HARDTAIL PRIDE!

I ride my mates hardtail. I find it real hard compared to a full suspension downhill bike but im getting better :P. You're class love the way you took that guy over haha

I`m using a hardtail for DH too, money is the problem, I`m 15 and I`m riding a Commencal Absolut. This video shows that you can be crazy fast on a hardtail too, cheers !
