  • It's all about cardio .....Visible abs is cardio cardio cardio nothing else ... end off. Aslong as you train your abdominals a little too ofcourse.

  • Everybody has ab muscles, it's just that most people don't have them visable due to both the amount of ab muscle and thier overall body fat.

    The shaping of them and having 6 or 8 ab muscles is genetic though and not something you can control.

  • everyone has 8 abdominal muscles, it isnt genetic. you just have to have a higher metabolism to show them, the only way you can get a six pack is by lowering your body fat, you can then on make them more visible by strengthening them and increasing their size. the only genetic input on your muscles is your metabolism and how fast your body can build muscle.

  • Totally agree too. It's all about diet! Now, if you want to build up/tone etc then sure exercises are what you need, but everyone has an 8 pack - it's just under fat. Just as everyone has biceps, triceps etc etc

  • yes thats true but you can help towards getting visable abdominal muscles by doing certian exercises

  • its not only genetic people, they only work them faster, but everyone can get them, skinny people can, my friend is skinny and he does have, his father doesn't he has a belly :S, im getting some, (starting), and my dad and relatives all have belly :S

    Its just determination, work out, good alimentation and hard work.
