  • @everton13483 and PCKelleyC the name of the 2 albums that Vernon Presley and Tom Parker released are OUR MEMORIES OF ELVIS vol. 1 and vol. 2. They can both be found on Ebay. Good luck! and enjoy!

  • AMAZING ~

  • so powerful...especially at the end. Unfortunately the way music was produced back then insisted on lots of vocals etc. But that was out of a production style, not necessity. Elvis Rocks, he Rolls, He is my favorite all time Gospel Singer and had some of the best Country Songs ever too. Whoever has that Elvis stripped album, post or at least send me the name of it. I would love to have it. tx

  • Tom Parker and Vernon Presley released 2 albums in the late '70s of Elvis singing without any backing tracks. I have them with all of my other Elvis albums. great listening, just Elvis!

  • @JRFinOKC hi freind i would like 2 get copy of those albums could you point me in the right direction my name is kenny not 2 clever on computers my email ksherlock@hotmail.co.uk hope u can help

  • I HAVE A BRILLIANT COMMENT.THIS KICKS ASS.LOVE TO CRANK IT IN MY CAR

  • I don't think any singer has ever sung with such naked emotion as this. The sheer raw power when he bears down on the notes is incedible. I think he is the best singer I have ever heard by a huge margin. His voice is huge, beautiful, powerful, tender and complex. In the 60's he had a much sweeter, purer tone but for me, this was his best period.

  • What a revelation to hear Elvis singing without any voices or production. What a beautiful instrument he had. More emotion and commitment than a million Laday Gagas.

  • Love it!~!~

  • Wonderful song,love it

  • elvis may never have written a song but he sure as hell could sing. frenchy doesn't know jack about elvis.

  • I think that the french guy to a very seclude mental institution... Elvis not getting his high notes? The french guy is crazy, of course.

  • @rickeggett well Rick for posting a dumb comment like that you're getting deleted & blocked...Charlie Hodge did not sing those high notes you idiot. Honestly go fuck yourself, that was EP all the way singing the ending. You must be tone deaf.

  • What album is this version off of? If you don't mind my asking.

  • @mydoggylives Elvis Country 1970

  • The sound of an Angel!

  • Definitely a tribute to the vocal ability of Elvis! He recorded many songs that did not even test his vocal ability----yet he recorded others that severely tested his abililty to hit the lows and highs in various songs. Many folks never realized his singing ability, especially in his earlier career as a swivel-hipped guitar pickin; rockabilly singer!

  • @GeneStewart71269 oh wow....so great to talk to an expert on the voice of Elvis.

May I ask you...which songs do you think severely tested his ability to hit the lows and the highs? Oh and his singing ability when he was young? Do tell us. Don't think Elvis was ever considered a duh...guitar pickin rockabilly singer. Where do you get off being such an expert?

  • Smashing good!

  • Excellent, beautiful.

  • he's the king and he'll always be. AMEN!!!

  • he's the king, amen

  • awesome song by ep!!!perfect sound!!! ty!!

  • Charlie Hodge told me when Elvis began preparing for his 1968 TV Comeback Special; Elvis was disappointed he (Elvis) could not sing like he did 10 years earlier (too many movies; not enough singing). Charlie was professionally voice trained (Southern Gospel) and began giving Elvis vocal lessons. When Kathy Westmoreland came along; she continued giving Elvis voice lessons. Elvis could sing Bass; Baritone; 2nd Tenor and 1st Tenor. Normally; only Opera Singers can do that. Elvis was the best!!

  • @YoungAtHeart1941 I always thought that Elvis was professionally trained but could never verify it. . Never knew that he was trained by Charlie Hodge or Kathy Westmoreland. Personally, I think that Elvis'' voice got better and more mature as he got older. He probably would be an awesome singer today even in his senior years.

  • As for the French guy; he knows nothing about singing. I talked to Conway Twitty (1961) and he admitted some nights he could not reach notes he could normally reach other nights. Also talked to multitudes of voice trained singers; every one said same as Conway. Talked to Charlie Hodge multiple times before his death; Charlie admitted SOMETIMES Elvis also missed the high notes. Foods; liquids; humidity; sinuses all affect our vocals; Elvis was no different. Elvis was; still is the greatest.

  • A great demo of the King's uncanny l vocal Talent. I wonder how many of you realize Elvis sang this song using 4 different keys - Bb/B/C/C# - WOW - As a Professor of Music at Columbia University said "Elvis could hit high G's that would make a Baritone Opera Singer turn green with envy"!! Song was written by Ernest Tubb, Great upload, thanks.

  • Não é para menos que Elvis Presley é admirado e amado em todo o MUNDO.

  • D++++

  • Nesta música se ve o poder da voz de Elvis Presley.Quem fala mal de Elvis é totalmente louco ou não entende nada de música. Ele é somente Fantástico...

  • Great song! Great recording! I love Elvis Presley. Thanks for uploading this.

  • the french guy should be submitted to a very secluded mental institution....

E.P. not getting his high notes?!?

    blessfemias dog......

  • i wouldn´t say it in such expressive way as TheWincent, but it´s obvious that Elvis proved his vocal abibility more than enough times during his career. especially in the final years his high notes were phemonenal (i love the sound of the in concert LP), almost like from an opera singer. it´s true that he often let the stamps, sweets and voice finish the song on stage but surely not because he was not able to sing it , rather to enjoy the sound himself :).

  • He was great through out his whole career but he changed in 1968 to a whole new level of greatness that lastest the rest of his public life 1977.

He is a great human being and he set the bar very high for every vocalist male and female and its one that will never be topped.

Elvis is the King of all MUSIC!

  • @TheWincent yeah seriously wonder if that french guy ever heard elvis sing hurt or unchained melody

  • Very great song by the king....

  • maldito francés, elvis cantaba lo que fuera, no necesitaba el coro!!!
