@13xsupermanx13 a double chug is generally a heavy metal style method of picking, you strum once down, then rather than strumming back up like you would if you were alternate or tremolo picking (alt. and trem. are just back and forth (up and down strums) to allow for faster and more effective strumming) you strum down again on the same string but this time strum back up, then strum down again, dont strum upwards this time, then down, and up, and repeat over and over. hammer explained in nextpost

@13xsupermanx13 hammer ons are just where you strum a string, then without strumming, press your finger quickly down onto the fret to achieve a note without having to strum. basically, you are recycling the remaining string vibrations to produce a note without having to strum. so try on the biggest (E) string, pressing a finger on the 3rd fret, strumming the string, then quickly putting your other finger on the 4th fret. you should hear the same sound as if you strum with finger on 4th fret.
