This is 2 crashes in 2 laps (not two crashes in one lap), the first crash was on the last corner before the straight. The second is about halfway through the next lap near the bridge.
@HyperCam3Vids Yes he did. The first crash was on the final corner of the first lap, he crossed the start/finish line (this becomes the second lap), and then had a crash near the bridge. How is this not 2 crashes in 2 laps, as opposed to 2 crashes in one lap?
@HyperCam3Vids The start/finish line is on the straight, he crosses that line between the 2 crashes. Have you ever been to Lakeside? I live 10 minutes away, it is definitely two crashes in two laps.
Oh and FYI, some tracks DO have the start and finish line in separate places.
Have a good look dickheads. Bowe was travelling slow enough to not have understeer and drive up the road, that dipshit Mezera turned down across him thinking he was clear.
Good old John Bowe, still driving down the centre of the track even when his race is over. Bowe first takes out Seton then drives down the middle of the track in a limping car...idiotic
@destructus25 Rubbish, it was a sprint race, there was no need to go to the pits back then, it was simply race for 20 minutes till the flag fell. I watched this meeting and I remember it well, Seton was not happy afterwards.
@Mob01971 I remember it well too, Seton was having dramas during the race and was on his way into the pits and it was Seton who incurred the wrath of the stewards.
@destructus25 Seton was leading over Bowe, Johnson had passed but Seton had been leading prior to that, why he would give up the spot has got me, he'd been defending that line and Bowe made a stupid move simple, then he drives around in the middle of the track and caused a second accident. Typical John Bowe of the era.
@Mob01971 If you watch the whole race you will see that Seton was leading but started to fade badly, im unsure of the exact reason why he was headed to the pits but it was affecting his car speed and as you can see in this clip he had Bowe, Jones and Perkins snapping at his heels after catching him fairly quickly.After the race finished they interviewed Seton to see what happened and it was then that he stated that he was going to the pits.
@nigglepoof Bowe should have been off to the side of the track and be at a speed that would allow him to control this car. The flat tyre just enforces that. If he understeered into Mezera, then he was going too fast.
@NealeinMI Yeah true, he must have felt that it was flat so should have slowed to a controllable speed but I guess it's a case of him being full of adrenaline and trying to get back to the pits to fix it as quickly as possible

@wamphyr000 But he didn't crash, go over the start line, then go past it again the crash, so it's all in 1 lap

@wamphyr000 The start of his 2 crash 1 lap is when he crashes the first time, you don't have a start line & finish line in different places.

@wamphyr000 Like what tracks, exactly?
HyperCam3Vids 3 months ago
@HyperCam3Vids Are you conceding that the 2 crashes are on separate laps?
As for what tracks, exactly, the Nordschleife Bridge to Gantry.

@wamphyr000 In which V8's don't race on

@HyperCam3Vids Irrelevant, i guess you're conceding, nice to see. Next time don't try to correct someone when you have no idea.

1st hit was definitely Bowe in the wrong, Seton was in front -- but I think Mezera hit Bowe on that second one...

@Mob01971 That was actually Setons fault, he was pulling into pitlane and just decided that he would simply pull across infront of Bowe.

it was Bowe's fault both of them. the mezera one he was driving down the middle of the track.
Muggo05 2 years ago
@Muggo05 Exactly. Why the hell didn't he move over to the side of the track?
NealeinMI 1 year ago
@NealeinMI If you mean when he hit Mezera you can see he was trying to move over to his right but the flat just made him understeer badly

@nigglepoof Yes it was Bowe's fault. But you're right he was trying to get back to the pits ASAP. Any driver would be.
