@fahrer4184 The essential Christianity is far from the Southern Baptist stereotype you allude to. As with all of mankind's attempts to fathom the mind of God, we all have missed the point in multitudinous ways. True Christianity is something of a mystical and complex, yet simple and elegant beauty-- One of her many paradoxes.
I love E Nomine and I love theology; Are the two incompatible? Hardly.
Why do people always have to link E Nomine to the Catholic religion?? It's true that some or many songs have religious lyrics, but I think the music is beyond that.
I like E Nomine music a lot, but I'm not Christian nor Catholic, I'm more into atheism.
@Johntxu C'mon dude, think. I myself have my own qualms with religion... I lean toward atheism, and totally dig E Nomine. But wondering why Christians identify with a song quoting one of the most famous parts of Christian scripture makes zero sense.
In fact, I deeply respect the Christians that do like this song, as they break away from the stereotype of the conservative Southern-Baptist imbeciles that just let the preacher brainwash them every single Sunday morning.
No, I tell you this, you cannot judge a man by the voice or by the flesh, but ye may judge him according to his spirit. For the flesh fails while the spirit does not.
Hey Leute! E Nomine ist ja Toll aber es gibt kein Grund warum wir daran argumentieren sollen!!!
