Yes, the TransAfghanistan oil pipeline is due to have construction started next year. The six month deployment of 30,000 soldiers to take on a few hundred Taliban just happens to coincide with that timing. Interesting is it not? We have lots of good equipment in afghanistan....most of it on soldiers backs to the tune of 90 to 100 lbs. The taliban is poor and they travel light.They are now forced into the high ground to launch their cowardly attacks while we bravely defend the low ground with our stationary forts. Its obvious that the only way to win this war is to put more troops in the trenches. It may be neccesary to bring back the draft to assure victory.

Well its obvious we need a change of tactics to win.The taliban are carrying ak rifles with ammunition that is very heavy. I propose that we arm our soldiers with 9 mm subguns whose lighter ammunition will give greater mobility to the troops.For a given amount of weight they can carry 3 x the ammo.A move like this could be the game changer that wins the war.

I propose that we get rid of the camo and switch to blaze orange uniforms to avoid freindly fire issues that have claimed to many of our men. This along with more troops in the trenches and lighter easier to carry subguns with increased ammo capacity and thus increased volume of directed fire will win the war.
