Looks like the inmates run the asylum in this video. It's a Penn State video, when did Buckeye fans take over? I don't care much really, but it's kinda fishy that the pro-PSU comments get a pile of thumbs downs and the anti-PSU comments get a bunch of thumbs ups ON A PENN STATE VIDEO. When did YouTube become Yahoo! Answers? On the bright side, at least this place doesn't suspend your account with silly violation notices over pointless crap yet. Well MV, it should be quiet for a few days after that stellar tOSU performance against Purdue today. I still think that it will be a close game when the Buckeyes come to Beaver Stadium. They are a good team, but Pryor is a pretty average QB. I just can't understand the media-led love affair with the guy. Big Ten preseason offensive player of the year, LOL.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I think you're being awfully generous by calling him an average QB, I'd say he's about on par with Morelli, myself. IMO, Ohio State is like their 2004 team, great defense, horrible offense, but their defense won't be able to save them if they turn the ball over at the 30 and keep giving up field goals. I see Penn State beating the Buckeyes by a score like 19-7 this year. I also see Iowa beating them 42-21 (with two TDs each team being defense or special teams) to deny them a share of the Big 10.
I would erase your theory about the Buckeye fans on the thumbs downs. Any fanbase could find comments "good" or "bad." And if they dislike PSU it's no questioning what they're gonna do. I actually like PSU because they've presented Ohio State from winning 5 consecutive outright Big 10 titles. For what it's worth I put a thumbs up on your comment. :)
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I say that because the pro PSU comments are given a TD but the anti-PSU comments (usually combined with "Go Bucks") are given a TU, and mostly PSU and Buckeye fans are on here. I just find it weird on a PSU video to see that. It would be like me on a pro-Buckeye video saying "Penn State wins 77-14 this year and Pryor gets sacked ten times" and getting 8 thumbs ups. My actual pick is 19-7 PSU, btw. Anyways, good luck against OSU as well, I wanna see them lose their last 3 games to go 7-5 (4-4).
Ohio State fans can be a pain in the ass. I live in Ohio so I deal with it everyday lol. And maybe there is something fishy going on here. Oh well nothing changes what happens on the field. Believe it or not I think the score will be a lot closer like 21 to 24 PSU. We'll see. And I WOULD LOVE to see a 7-5 Ohio State team!!! Good luck man, come out happy in Happy Valley.
I couldn't see the Buckeyes scoring 21 on PSU when Iowa needed a safety and blocked punt to do that. Northwestern and Minnesota have great offenses and totalled 13 points against PSU. However I don't care what the score is as long as PSU wins, I'm sure you share my sentiment. I could see Michigan upsetting OSU by a score like 21-17, though. I could see OSU losing out the rest of the way. No Big 10 championship for them, LOL.
I wish you would have been right. Sadly, the Nittany Lions choked and coughed up hairballs today once again, showing their inability to win big games since 1994, and this is the straw that broke the camel's back. A camel denied but a drop of water since 1994. I've finally hit the point where I can't take it anymore with Penn State losing big games every time it matters. As it stands now, Penn State is an irrelavent middle of the pack Big Ten team like Purdue and Northwestern.
The only bull here is your comment. I don't know what you're talking about, but I never said anywhere that I am no longer a PSU fan. Is it because I think Joe Paterno can't win the big games anymore? I love JoePa, but tell me a year in the past 20 years outside of 1994 that he hasn't blown it when it mattered most. Or is it because I said I won't watch every week? Guess what, I didn't plan things around watching every week until 2004 either but still was a fan. Still am. Just no longer obsessed.
@MVillani1985 2005.. just to name one.. how many games to Michigan were lost because of bullshit calls.. so bad in fact that Paterno is the reason we have Instant Replay in College football..or do you not recall the 2005 Michigan Game.. I think Paterno is too old now too and its affecting recruiting..but suffer unto me his class and let him leave after this year to A.Director or what not..
@ricebiscuit I wrote that when I was too pissed off with the team after looking like chumps against an Ohio State team they should have beaten to really think clearly, so what I said then no longer applies.
Nooooo where was the Penn State offense saturday? I'm bummed. Things don't always turn out as expected. Oh well :) They did end up scoring 24 so at least one of the numbers in my prediction was right. Good luck with the rest of the season :)
Thanks, same to you as well. Sadly, I won't be watching the rest of the games except the bowl game because I'm fed up with Penn State underperforming. Well, on the bright side, hopefully Penn State may get an SEC or Big XII opponent, because although Penn State is awful this year, I mean Syracuse-awful (we got lucky against Michigan and Northwestern that it went that way), at least they still have a shot at punking a hotshot SEC or Big XII team. I hope Michigan can become bowl eligible, too.
Ohio State scored 6 points AT HOME with Pryor at QB against Penn State. I don't care how strong he is or what his QB rating was. SIX POINTS AT HOME. You can have the "potential" debate. PSU won the game.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Also worth nothing, both teams have dropped off a bit from last year, and Penn State gets Ohio State at home. I say PSU wins against the Buckeyes 19-7, scoring a lot of field goals from turnovers, because the Buckeyes do have a good defense, but it won't do them much good if we're still booting field goals on them all day. I see them scoring a touchdown against us late in the game against a prevent defense but that's it.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
LOL Samsizzles. Pull out all the common opponent arguments you want, because that's all you've got. Head-to-head, at the Shoe, the result is Darryl Clark +1, All-World Mr. Pryor 0. Maybe you'll have bragging rights after this year's game at PSU. Remains to be seen.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
In the pouring rain, yes. This is a much different PSU team now, though. Remember we only scored 28 on Cuse, does that make Northwestern better than us for scoring 34? Also, last year, you scored only six points on us. Coastal Carolina socred ten (seven meaningful). So Coastal Carolina's offense was better than Ohio State/s last year? I don't think you'll be laughing so much when "LOL IOWA" beats the Buckeyes at the Shoe following an OSU defeat in Beaver Stadium.
Only time will tell.. Big 10 football gets me super hyped up man sorry for rubbing off the wrong way, but I honestly do think we're gonna win those 2 games. Like I said though only time will tell.. good luck bro.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I don't blame you for thinking that Ohio State will win those games, that's what a good fan is supposed to do. However, as a PSU fan, I believe that the Nittany Lions will do enough to win against Ohio State. It won't be a rout, since you have a scary good defense, but like the 2004 team who also had a good D, OSU has offensive struggles. I think if teams can limit the mistakes against Ohio State's opportunistic defense, they can pull off the win (like USC did earlier this year).

hey billygrizzle08 do you remember last year osu vs. psu in the horseshoe when that little quarterback that you love so much pryor threw an interception with a minute left which pretty much clinched penn state a big ten title. after that id have to say that clark has got to be one of the best screen passers ive ever seen because hes not afrair of being hit unlike pryor who will take off and run out of bounce to save himself. pryor would be nothing without his legs his passings AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey hickocksports do you remember last year when Pryor had a better QB rating AND a better completion percentage percentage than Clark as a TRUE freshman. You only shared the Big Ten title because of stupid technicalities. I hope you don't also think that you should share the national title with Florida and LSU because you both had the same record at year's end, despite the head to head loss to each.
"stupid technicalities"??? Penn St lost one game in the Big 10 and Ohio St lost one in the Big 10... that's pretty fair. Obviously they're not "stupid technicalities" since that's the way it's been for years.

If we had never played each other, then yes, it would be fair. But PSU beat Ohio State head to head. In 2006 you lost a game, Florida lost a game, you should share the championship, that's fair, right? But wait, what's this? They beat you head to head? I doublt you'd like these rules if in 2007 PSU only lost to Ohio State, for example, and you had to share with us (those other 3 losses were decided by a play, after all). Remember, you lost to Illinois, so yes, you'd have had to share in 2007.
What the hell are you talking about Florida for? We're talking about the Big 10 championship. And who cares if we lost head to head with you, a loss in the Big 10 is a loss in the Big 10. And why are you even mentioning 2007? A win is a win and a loss is a loss. You lost by 20 to us that year and of the 4 losses you lost by an average of 9 pts a game. Oh and we won the Big 10 title outright in 2007.. Illinois lost to Iowa and Michigan that year and our only Big 10 loss was to Illinois.

Lmao he had more long balls than Clark too!!! As a FRESHMAN (had to remind you)!!! Pryor will make more of an impact in his career than Clark will... end of subject. BTW what did Clark do his freshman season?
As a Michigan fan I hate to admit that both qb's are beasts... but when I think of 1 player in the big 10 that poses the biggest threat to my team, Pryor is the name that comes to mind... he's doing things that Clark is as a 5th-yr senior... and he's gonna be a sophomore. When he's a senior (if he even stays that long) he will be shatterring records. I'm gonna hate when we have 2 play the Bucks. Oh and clark was nowhere close to winning the Davey O'bryan award. Good luck.
i went to camp with stephan green my freshman year of of highschool... flushing high... and he played for kennedy high... anyways stephan gets the hand off and runs into the hole were he met me and he got jacked up... the next play later... he runs a sweep to my side and i meet him at the edge and this dude absolutely jacked me up... real good player that dude
He does have a ton of potential, however he just needs some more reps and improve his concentration. Some of his early season drops really irked Joe. Hopefully he can step in and be what Dwill was for us his freshman year.

Good luck.

my team played against chaz powell when he was a senior William Penn Bearcats. Hes so damn quick I hope hes that good for Penn State

He does have a ton of potential, however he just needs some more reps and improve his concentration. Some of his early season drops really irked Joe. Hopefully he can step in and be what Dwill was for us his freshman year.

Ha! Chaz Powell went to my high school. Big time football player. It will be interesting to see how he does this year.
