Boxing historians already place Manny Pacquiao in the mid teens as an all time great. Not surprised about that because boxing legends have to be respected. What's laughable would be people out there (and there are plenty) putting Pacquiao at #40 or #50.

Hi Kayla! Your video reminded me of someone else who hasn't forgotten his roots -- it's Apl of the Black Eyed Peas. They were so poor growing up in the Philippines that his mother had to give him up for adoption at 14 years of age to an American couple. Apl got a better opportunity in life but he managed to keep in touch with his biological family and country. I favorited the Black Eyed Peas' music video "Bebot." It's weird to hear him sing in his native tongue, but still fun to watch.
What does Floyd Mayweather mean to you. For me, Floyd represents boxing excellence and craftmanship. Hi Kayla! Your video reminded me of someone else who hasn't forgotten his roots -- it's Apl of the Black Eyed Peas. They were so poor growing up in the Philippines that his mother had to give him up for adoption at 14 years of age to an American couple. Apl got a better opportunity in life but he managed to keep in touch with his biological family and country. I favorited the Black Eyed Peas' music video "Bebot." It's weird to hear him sing in his native tongue, but still fun to watch.

What does Floyd Mayweather mean to you. For me, Floyd represents boxing excellence and craftmanship. He follows in the great tradition of Black fighters-Jack Johnson, Sugar Ray Robinson, Muhammad Ali( the Louisville lip) , Sugar Ray leonard, Pernell Whitaker, Roy Jones ect... All of these fighters were viewed negatively because they where young and brass Blackmen that didn't act meek to appease 'them'. Floyd is the last man standing. look beyond the now and see futher.

You didn't address any of the issues that I brought to light. The confidence Floyd exhibits is the same the greats in the past have displaced, Ali, SSR and Jack Johnson. Society has always had an issue with outspoken Black men who didn't stay in there place. If you think the dislike for Floyd is solely based on his attitude than you are sadly mistaken. @loveisthephilippines He would not have asked Pacquiao for blood testing if he did not have been impressed somehow by Pacquiao's style and aggression. Floyd saying he does it for the sport? Untrue, because he only fights once a year. He talks too much for what he brings as a fighter, even if he's very gifted. That being said, I don't say that Pacquiao's clan is clean as well, but, well, Floyd is afraid of losing his precious zeros... ;)

ALi and Sugar Ray were indeed out spoken, but were loved so much by the public; much so like Manny Pacquiao. Marvin Hagler was out spoken, but was not as loved as Sugar Ray. It's the same position as Floyd jr. America and U.K know about Floyd and respect him, but the rest of the world had no clue of Floyd until he challenged Manny. i could understand the jealousy of Floyd since he makes less than Manny. Look at Forbes and you wont see FLoyd there, but u will see Dela Hoya, pacquiao, kobe etc.

I think Manny, to win, needs to be 75% defensive minded for the first half of the fight, as Cotto is strong early on, but as he fades later, Pac should start piling on the bombs. I'd say Pac should win by late TKO or UD.

If it wouldn't be for all the great African boxers paving the way for this asshole showing not an ounce of appreciation for what we have done he wouldn't even be allowed in the boxing ring.
