"Puff The Magic Draggin!'" Surprising, though it really, really makes one wonder what's going thru ol' Keef's 'ead, mate! Take that, Mick! Ha ha ha ha ha!! I can't even HEAR your bloody Stairmaster!! Hmmm....wonder if this thing makes coconut noises? Brill. Cream-er!! :)
i love how no one will even begin to accept this because there's not enough cowbell or some shite lyric whine bout withdrawal from love or some 4/4 garbage to "move" to. keith may not get it... but it makes sense. the greatest hits in the world are heard by factory personell. get on it, noobs.
I thought I knew a thing or two about the Stones in the 60's, but I've never heard about this. Great historical footage. Do you know when this was filmed? I mean was it beginning '69 when Brian was still with them or even end '68 and only released in '69?
ajjajaja rare clip !!

Keith is doing a lot of tweaking to achieve very little timbre change. I have a tendency to agree that he has no clue as to what he is doing.
I like the modular work of the other Keith a LOT better.

He has absolutely no clue what he is doing here - with the synth or on this earth.

i don't think that modular is even powered on
chinard 1 year ago
@chinard I'm inclined to agree with you here. It seems more like some stock footage of him dicking around on it with some different sound edited in.

emssynthi100 1 year ago
so, let me see if i've got this straight ...
mick makes "performance" with keef's g/f and so keef has to make this rubbish.
oh for fuck's sake. what a little boy. overindulged as a youth no doubt. bet he thinks his turds are artistic too.

Does the music correspond to the footage in any way? To me his actions look too random and and fast...

Interesting to see Keith doing this way before Eno or anybody. Keith is the grandfather of Ambient Music!
jamal49 2 years ago 2
that's right using a synth automatically makes you Eno.

Or maybe not, I guess they wrote the songs in Positano, not Rome.

...and they are probably in the midst of recording Midnight Rambler and Monkey Man (not in this clip though ;) ). Great clip, awesome.
