Molarity....if he was asking for a mnemonic device to remember which one is which...just think of the "r" and "r" in liters- the denominator and r in "morality" word..
@RAYz544 naa he is a Bangladeshi American ! he was born in US but his former generation is Bangladeshi *I'M PROUD TO BE A BANGLADESHI* well Khan is a Muslim surname so it can b used by bangladeshi,indian,pakistani,algerian,arabian...PAKISTAN DOESNT HAVE COPYRIGHT OF "KHAN" xD
Hi, I have some question, so how does colloid solution pulls water from interstitial space and not from the blood cell? I know that hypertonic solution pulls water from blood cell and hypotonic push water into the blood cell, while colloid is also hypertonic...

...meow...(...when sulfate, sulfites, nitrates, etc. begin precipitating the colloid state can be reached in seconds, if the right temperature conditions exist. When ocean currents begin mixing during vernal & invernal equinoxes, the ability of a warm current mixing with the colloid formed over a barrier reef and the heat of hydration can cause drastic crenation of cellular material as water is pulled from the aquatic plant cells causing what has been called: "El Niño"...)
Actually, molality can fluctuate too. Mass is generally measured by weight on a scale and weight can change depending on where on earth you are standing, because gravitational forces can fluctuate depending on where you are standing. This is because the earth isn't a perfect sphere, and for instance if you are standing on a mountain there is additional gravitiational forced when compared with standing on death valley.
@plethos But, mass is not the same as weight. Mass is in Kilograms or grams and is the same wherever you are, on the moon, on Jupiter or at home. Weight is gravity dependent and is in Newton.. So, if you tell someone how much you weigh it would be more honest to tell them your weight in newtons rather than kilo's (forget pounds or Lbs or whatever you guys call them alltogether ;) )
@Danthaman1971 However, the only method we have of measuring mass is with weight, or otherwise known as gravitational attraction to the Earth. I suppose you can always recalibrate the scale you are working with while on on the top of a mountain or bottom of a valley with a standardized kg weighted object and get an accurate measurement though.
In regards to the beginning, I think you mean "homogeneous" mixtures, not "homogenous". Could confuse some chemistry+biology students. Similarly, it's "heterogeneous," not "heterogenous".
How about this for remembering between Molality and Molarity:
Molality is the "reality" of the substance (so you know kg is always constant no matter the pressure or temperature). Molality kind of rhymes with reality.
Molarity is the "hilarity" of the substance because it is based on volume and that can change on you depending on your P, T. So it can change on you and that is kinda hilarious, I guess :-D
thanks were doing this in school

DUDE! Suspensions are HETEROGENEOUS!
AlejandroEav 5 months ago
@AlejandroEav Suspensions can be homogeneous or heterogeneous, depending on how equally dispersed they are throughout the substance.

yep. great video. but a suspension is a heterogeneous fluid containing solid particles that are sufficiently large for sedimentation.
