@TheRogueMonk I switched to just updates.... money was an issue and so was time. I think the next vid is just Mame cabinet update or something like that. Go check my page out and see it completed!
Progress is waiting patiently lol. In about two or three weeks i will start working on it again. I've done a few things here and there since the last vids, just nothing you would notice or worthy of making a vid for. I updated the speakers wiring (the old one was crackling a lot) and put a new Control panel overlay on it(without the white dots) Just waiting on money (had an expensive christmas). Stay tuned videos will come soon as i get my taxes back. I can't wait
I've got it programmed to run Mame 32 on a windows xp platform. I've been checking out mala but if you setup Mame 32 right it gets the job done just fine. It will have a full romset for mame version 0.125 roughly 7,000 roms i think (most will be playable some won't due to control layouts) but it will be capable.
You should check out Maximus Arcade if you're looking for a front end that does almost EVERYTHING. (I use it to run MAME 32, SNES, Nebula, Genesis & PC games.) It's $25 to buy (which kind of sucks), free to try for 30 days, but it's pretty slick.... I'm working on making my first custom skin for it with a Street Fighter themed intro video...
Coming along nicely. About the t-molding, I found the using a Dremel and a sanding disc works better than using a router. It takes longer and you go through lots of discs, but it gets in deeper and staighter. Just my opinion.
where is day 7

Slick.... so, are you going to use a front end to launch MAME, or is this going to be a MAME cab that plays strictly Mortal Kombat?
Very nice job so far!

Thanks man, yeah routers are wicked machines lol. It can be done but you gotta be VERY careful. Next time i'm gonna go the dremel route lol.
