I almost thought college math for me was over. However, thanks to great people like you, my math skills are up to par and a lot easier to understand. Thank you much and please continue true knowledge.
@nomadic3527 glad to hear that things are going well for you. i have found that 50% of doing well in math is just having some confidence, knowing that it is a hard subject, and do not give up! : )
Hey, Pat. Love your work and I thank you for that. Just wanted to remind you that if I'm not mistaken, the example, "Factoring Using the Great Common Factor, GCF - Example 1" should't in the parenthesis be y^4 instead of y^6?
Your videos are easy to follow because you have neat hand-writing, you have prepared your explanation, your use of paper/pen and pointing with your two fingers as you explain is easier to follow compared to other methods. Keep up your good work.
@CiviliTary perfect, glad you got it! for me at least, i usually do not understand things the first time around; it is all about repetition and trying to understand a bit more than i did the first time (still i usually do not fully understand!!).

when you say "add the exponets" you say we have to add y(2) and y(8) and you get 6? wouldnt that be subtracting.? WTF...

So, i have to say you're 138947346093487924987394 times better than my own alg teacher.

how is 6 * 2 = 8 :S:S:S
xlaFax 1 year ago
@xlaFax
2 to the 6 x 2 to the 2 = 64x4 = 256 = 2 to the 8 , when you multiply same numbers with exposants , exposants add themself ...
LordMonSeigneur 1 year ago
@xlaFax 6+2 = 8 you don't multiply you add the exponents =]

So y to the 2nd goes in to y to the 8th four times.. Why put 1y to the 6th wouldn't it be 1y to the 4th that step lost me.. But i suck at algebra
