@UALHVY... nice name. Wonder who you work for. I have over a million miles on UAL and BDL is my home airport. I knew most of the ground staff on a first name basis at that point and wasn't you're average stranger there. I didn't believe a pilot would pull that either but verified his statement tying the departure to the end of the game from multiple UAL staff who all were seething over what that idiot was doing. He was costing me $ and made sure I had good data (try it) before I called United.

Exactly true what is said in the video. And that is why pilots should be paid a lot more than they are now. These people have taken pay cuts around 50%, the top executivs are making more and more and the employees are still suffering. It's time to get back what you deserve! If I reach my goal of flying for the airlines in a few years, I will definatly fight for getting back what was stolen from pilots by management.
And by the way, United would be my dream airline...
In the first 15 secons of the commercial they explain what it takes to become an airline pilot... they forgot to mention how much it cost!!!! I'm gonna be in debt for the rest of my life:-(
