His music transforms my state of mind--for the better that is.It's no wonder Eno went out of his way to contact him (see interview here: w w w.kcrw.c o m/music/programs/gz/gz031220harold_budd/#). Before you go to sleep put on some Budd. And big ups to Mr. Wright for some killer guitar on this one! The sounds ebb and flow perfectly in and out of each other.
This is a great mix(tape).. I'm a huge fan of Budd and I enjoy nearly every collaboration he's done. Especially with Guthrie (I'm an oldschool cocteau twins fan, natch). Thanks!
i must say. this piece and the video are magical. I am thankful to have this in my life at this point in time. it has done some healing and some enlightening. thank you for posting. and thank harold Budd and Clive Wright for bringing this music to life.

actually their long hair acts as insulation from heat and cold, much as house insulation stabilizes the temperature inside, they needed a bath though, and the hair gets matted easily and has to be shaved like a sheep
Thanks heaps for this upload. I love the little bits of Harold Budd I keep coming across, most of all his open mind. One bone to pick though. You wrote "... has to be shaved like a sheep." Problem is, I live in Australia where we have many sheep; I've never yet heard of one being shaved. Shorn, yes, by a shearer, but shaved; no, that just conjurs up some quite disturbing images for me. Fortunately Harold & Clive can help by soothing my addled mind. Seriously ... you have impeccable taste.
I just received this album in the mail today, after waiting anxiously for it for 5 months!!
This album was well-well worth the wait! I have a lot of Budd records at this point, and I honestly think that this is my favorite Budd album now. The first song is 32 minutes long, and it is simply beyond words. I truly adore this music.
Thank you Harold Budd and Clive Wright for this truly special special music. I will treasure these recordings for the rest of my life. Many thanks.
Beautiful beyond description ! I listen to this piece of music nearly every day. I hope Harold Budd will be be back soon in Italy. I saw him with Hector Zazou in 1996 in Bari (Puglia). Time Zones was the name of the music festival.
Wonderful and Dreamful...Harlod is ALL, with or without Eno ...Thanks Luigi.
