I am practicing this etude myself for over 4 months now and in my humble opinion you really do it justice here. The right hand fast, light, clear and bright..no heavy banging or excesive rubatos...how the hell did you manage the 4 bars at 1:11 in this tempo :O
the left hand really independ of the right hand and standing out clearly with the melody when needed...really good, you gave me inspiration to not give up practincing this hellish hard piece of music!
I don't know how to answer you honestly. I didn't realize that playing fast or slow can show am I a musician or am I not. I like it this way but I can play it slower too. However, I prefer this way of playing this etude and I wouldn't be honest if I change interpretation I believe in just because it is fast or slow. All the best and again, thank you sincerely for commenting.
@mihajmi i apoligize i didnt mean to offend you, you have great technique i just prefer more allegro than presto. we have contrasting opinions thats all
wooohoooww.. thought I couldn't be surprised anymore by any performance of this etude.. I was wrong, great performance (!!) crisp.. sounded like you had fun playing it..

Really superior performance!! Very quick tempo but so clean and your
pedaling is masterful...not enough to muddy but just enough to keep the
shimmer on your pearls!!
