There was no police there that day ,only hells angels who walked through th crowd to the right of the stage as you watch, scared the shit out of us ,everyone got out of there way, best tenner I ever spent but not for seeing u2(the voice Of The young people of Ireland)
Larry Mullen Jr is the greatest rock drummer of all time. This song is so hard to play technically...with the tempo changes. Its very subtle. Next to neil peart, mullen jr is a rock god.
Did you all know that this song is about a bunch of teenagers getting thrown out onto the street at 11 pm during a concert of "The Cramps." I just found that out. Cool eh?
its not!!!!its about WORLD WAR 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!think about it "I hear the children crying, and they no its time to go. i hear the children crying take me home" thats about children in london being taken into the country but they want to stay home! and its called 11 o clock tic toc cus at 11 o clock is wen the nazis bombed their houses
@theedge2009 Nope, it's about being at a gig in London's Electric Ballroom to see The Cramps. This has been mentioned a few times in interviews/ biographies from both Bono and The Edge over the years. Read into the lyrics - "And the boys and girls collide, to the music in my ears". Sounds more like being in a crowd at a rough gig to me ;-)
i would agree and say Unforgettable Fire would be better than Joshua Tree, i love Auctung Baby because it was such a different sound for them at the time and was a big risk for them trying something so new. My fav album would prob be All That You Cant Leave Behind, i cant listen to just one song off it and end up listening to it all the way through, In A Little While my fav song off it
i agree that the joshua tree is overrated, but it is still a great album in its own rite. as well as that u2 have made some of the best music ever since the unforgettable fire. Songs such as one, where the streets have no name and beautiful day are classics.
I agree. However, what the hell was Zooropa! What a piece of crap! I think they just wrote an album as bad as they could just to see if it would sell.
hahahaha that would be funny if u2 tried to write an album as bad as they could to see if it would sell lol, although i do like the Wanderer, lemon, and zooropa on that album.
I like Zooropa more than the new album, though Breathe is cool in the first half. If I want to hear Harold Budd and Eno, I listen to their music, - regarding the current album.
It's too blah and 'unpassioned artsy' for me. Heard it before, and/or just not compelling enough.
was playback

This is great. Funy the bloke who says 'fuck off' right at the beginning - he obviously didn't realise how big they were going to get..

It's amazing what that guy can do with a guitar

That's the U2 most of us know and love.It was all downhill after "The Unforgettable Fire album". "The
Joshua Tree" has to be one the most overrated ablums
in rock history."Unforgettable Fire" is probably
one of the most underrated.
Thanks for posting,marcyamelo!!
