The Lepord Seal was trying to feed the diver. She (the Lepord Seal in the video is a she) must have thought that the camera man was starving and after seeing how slow he swam she knew that she had to feed him or he would starve to death.

Strange watching this on tv the other night. At the start I thought it was just a savage animal, attacking the diver early on. Then it starts offering food and being gentle. These have to be very intelligent animals to even consider if another animal is hungry or if he just wanted to play. Make you think. That diver was awesome, If you saw the first seal that came after him you'd have never gone in water again.... balls of steel.
