for example when you use 1280x720 video, put this in very first line. and set start and end time.

@PkmnChampionRayquaza max_space means the maximum distance between the particles. If you put a small number to it,the number of particles constituting a curve increases. As a result, the number of generated fx lines increases.---->CRASH^^;

Therefore, you should put a big number to it,if you don't want to crash.

I'm translating a video of kpop, with the romaji and the pt translation. When i put the kara effect i selected only the romaji parts, and they were in the top of the video(the translation under). So my problem was, the romaji parts went down!!! and i want them on the top! T.T honestly i think i did some things wrong... i don't know what to do T.T

set the alignment and margins.

e.g.) alignment 8 vert margin 20 to romaji alignment 8 vert margin 25+font size to trans.

Find \fn tag in the template lines, and remove it.

assign a different style to hangul, romaji, and translation.

change the template style to hangul and romaji style.

(duplicate the template lines, one is for hangul and the other is for romaji.)

karaoke templater ignores the tags in the karaoke lines.

when you want to change the postion, use style manager.

ans set the alignmnet and margins.^^

I've followed comments on how to reposition the subtitles but after adding the fx, they go to the top and just stay there. Tried moving it with the tools and styles manager but it wont do anything. Even tried changing the values on the \pos tag but nothing. What am I missing or doing wrong?

So you get audio and video lag, when you preview it with aegisub.

When Automation > Apply Karoke template, it starts loading but then it will take little tiny bit to load at a time. Not like yours, yours loads really fast but for some reason mine doesn't :(

@yansaniang karaoke templater does not support \N. Maybe you can use it in the translation llines, but cannot use it in the karaoke lines^^;

@2PMissA ASS format has only support for vector drawings not for phote image. But VirtualDub has logo filter. So you can put a phote image when you encode the video to combine the sub.

2. Apply effect A to style A and export the file. Open exported file and remove all lines except fx lines.

3. Apply effect B to style B and export the file. Open exported file and remove all lines except fx lines.

I just downloaded all this software recently, so I know I'm good on that part. But when I'm trying to apply this, no effects come up and I'm told my style isn't found.

So 1) do I need to have three types of karaoke going on? Since there's three different styles.

2) could I possibly just have it for one style type instead?

@TheCupcakeDancer Did you change the style before applying the template? Because this effect generates quite a lot of fx lines, after applying the template, Aegisub gets heavy. Please apply the template after finishing all the editing work.

New question. I tried the "jumping" one. As soon as i press "apply karaoke template" it crashes my aegisubs. If i do it with one line only it does load, but when i try to play it in aegisubs itself, it crashes again. It gives alot of extra lines on the timeline. i have around 3000+ lines now, and that is just one line. Am i doing something wrong?

@EnRoKoSubs jumping effect generates quite a lot of particles. when you use higher resolution video, more particles are generated. you can adjust the number of particles by using max_space variable in the second line.

put bigger number , and less particles are generated.

@shahirashera You don't have to undo, because even after the template is applied, any change is not added to your karaoke lines. Delete all fx lines, and assign the appropriate style to your karaoke lines.

Oke its working, only one problem D: When i try to reposition the text to lets say.. the upper right cornor. Whenever i press "apply karaoke template" it will automaticly get back to the old spot where no position is set and thats it.. i cant relocate it at all. How can i relocate text wich uses the effect?

p.s. i made a hangeul and romanji of a music video and i apply one of those template of urs but when i preview it, the hangeul became block. but in my style are hangeul.. and the lyrics also has no space between them they are on the same line i follow ur tutorial (the timing tutorial ^^).

@ryoms Did you use hangul font? If the font that you used doesn't have the Hangul font, it becomes a block.

You can change the lyrics positions by using Style Manager.

I copied and pasted the template effect then clicked on "apply karaoke template" when I viewed the video which was played slowly (could not play smoothly as original of video) where having karaoke subbing and where no having subbing, the video was played normal. When I make a heavy effects, I don't count preview of Aegisub. When I want to check the quality, I encode it with VirtualDub in every case.
