You may also spray a coat of enamel or something similar to make it water proof and much more permanent. Rustoleum has spray enamel

Seems a lot easier and cheaper to just cook up your own wheatpaste glue. Add into a pot - 3 cups of regular bleached white flour, about 4 cups of water (you'll need to add a little more while cooking to get the right milkshake consistency) Put the pot on LOW heat and stir CONSTANTLY (with whisk) so it doesn't clump up. Once it starts to boil take it off heat and let it cool, it shouldn't clump at this point. Once it is cool jar it and add a few tbsp of sugar and cornstarch. That's it go paste!!!

The soft gel is something you have to get at an art supply store while the Teknabond is one u have to go to home depot to get. I take it that he means: By adding half a bucket of the Soft Gel, the mix is filled to the rim in the glue bucket. In the beginning ( 04:20 ) he says the glue bucket is a 3 gallon.
