  • FUCK YOU SOPA! FBI killed megaupload.

  • Ah, the good ol' days. It's strange I say this because this game came out less than a decade ago but our grandfathers say the same only about things from their childhood that actually was long ago. lol

  • awesome

  • Honestly better than the Sonic Adventure version.

  • i like sa1 it doesn't matter better than this, but this is a good song

  • Everyone thinks it doesn't matter (it's not a hate comment it's a like comment)

  • 2001, the best Sonic game produced and last callings of an actual good Sonic game. Sonic Adventure 2, dont give up the fight!

  • @DaBlueShadow Even if most later 3D Sonic games are bad, you have to admit the soundtracks are awesome.

Sonic heroes - Every song is good except Team rose's theme.

Shadow the Hedgehog - I personally don't like the Evil ending theme.

Sonic 06 - Half the soundtrack is bad except for Shadow's theme and His World.

Secret rings - Not too bad, seven rings in hand is most memorable.

Black Knight - 3 good songs

    Unleashed - only one song

    Colors - not sure yet.

  • @MrIAMNOTANOOB Yeah Crush 40 makes good music to the franchise, I can agree to that but I want that Adventure formula back.

  • @MrIAMNOTANOOB i think colors has the best soundtrack of any sonic game

  • @MrIAMNOTANOOB i agree with you on all but sonic colours. reach for the stars. thats what ill put there.

  • @DaBlueShadow Nostalgia goggles much? Just because Sonic's found a new gameplay formula, doesn't automatically make it bad. And yes, he IS back on top of his game now.

  • @NerfedFalcon Nostalgia goggles? If I was nostalgic, I would say SG is the best Sonic game ever because everything for the game is for the past memories of Sonic. Who said a different gameplay formula, makes it automatically bad? It's about giving substance around the gameplay's dimension to make it worthwhile.

  • @DaBlueShadow It's not like Sonic Team hasn't finally found a way to make 3D really work: namely, that they basically made it a 2D game from a different camera angle. And the consensus is that Sonic works better in 2D, so...

  • @DaBlueShadow ...all they have to do is make some new, original levels and a story that doesn't try to be Final Fantasy, price it lower than the average AAA game (like Generations was) and they'll finally have their act really together.

  • @NerfedFalcon I used to think 2D was the best in the 90's until 3D showed up in the mid 90's. I prefer the Adventure games over the classic games ever since then because of that. But you can't change people's views when they got 3 types of gameplay now. The new gameplay makes it feel like a 2D game from the gimmicks Modern Sonic have. Generations is a good game, but I still think the Adventure series was the way a 3D Sonic game was meant to be.

  • @DaBlueShadow As far as I know, four games were made with the Adventure formula and two-and-a-half were critically panned. That's the biggest incentive I can think of to not go back to it.

  • @NerfedFalcon Around the time, the original Sonic Team split apart in 2000 leading to a lower budget and the substance of gameplay changed. It may feel like the Adventure formula from SA1/2 because its in fully 3D, but those games after SA1/2 were done horribly. Physics engine changed, graphics engine changed, different change of gameplay, pointless stories/characters, weirder gimmicks and it went down the drain.

  • @DaBlueShadow Sonic Heroes would have been totally fine if it wasn't for Sony forcing them to put it on PS2, hence why they changed the engine. And as for pointless stories and characters, couldn't the start of that be attributed as easily to Shadow as to Silver?

  • @NerfedFalcon Shadow is one of the most popular characters ever. Well 25th in 2011 most popular video game characters and it was all because of one game. After that Sega killed Shadow, as much to any other character in the franchise. The concept of Sonic Heroes could of been executed alot better, Sonic only suppose to take the speed routes which are all mostly automated.

  • @DaBlueShadow A lot of people see Shadow as just an "emo" knockoff of Sonic, so I suppose he's just polarising - like most of the games.

  • @NerfedFalcon Yeah "emo" in his other games, but in SA2 he was like Sonic but just on the dark side which made him popular.

  • @DaBlueShadow I would have thought he was a lot less emo after getting a gun, but that's just me...

  • @NerfedFalcon Are you trying to say SA2 was all about Shadow? Sonic was still the main character in that game.

  • Listen to this every morning ^.^

  • OMG

  • nostalgiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeee !!!! ♥

  • i can't do the doesnt matter at the end right cuase i dont want to wake everybody up... :P

  • I can't decide which is better: this version or the first version

  • 2:02 THUMBS UP IF THIS UR FAVORITE PART OF THE SONG.. THE VOICES GO HIGH!! OH!!!! IT DOESNT MATTER! ^O^

  • And to this day, it remains sonic's theme. If you listen closely to the harmonica on the fan gallery in Sonic and the Black Knight, its this song.

  • @drahydra

Also, in Sonic and the Black Knight; while with the blacksmith, (Tails) his theme song for him (Sonic DX) is playing in a different version("Believe in my self")

    Listen Closely

  • I was in 3rd grade when I first heard it. It rocks soooooo much!

  • lolz I love this song and the end of the video with sonic and shadow talking that is hilarious! xP
