The aiming sucks but it starts firing immediately after the car moves , it is very sensitive to movement but accuracy is low.

pretty awesome though , i wish i can do that one day.

So the tech your using is a sort of image recognition. You take a picture and the sentry shoots at whatever is different. Right? How many degrees can the turret operate to.

I can't speak for the maker, but I'd guess that he's not comparing one whole picture to another and shooting the differences, It looks (to me) more like it's making a fix on a group of pixels in one frame, looking for them in the next, and if there's a big difference in position, calculating the apparent velocity and leading the shots based on that velocity.

I think that's why it tends to overshoot the target at the end of the target's movement or when the target is making small, quick moves.

Natural human reaction to pain is to get away from it. When you're getting shot with a paintball gun the last thing someone would do without foreknowledge is stop moving.
