@pinkfreud62 I think I'm going to have to disagree. I thought that the movie adaptation for this was outstanding. I've read the book several times and watched the movie just as many. Marc Senter did an awesome job playing one of my favorite sociopaths.

The book was set in 1969.But in this film, Ray is watching "Night of the Living Dead" on TV. The film was released in 1968. Why?

The acting by Marc Senter was great, but I cant say that for the rest of the people. The trailer makes the movie look faster than it is, but still its a good movie. The last 30mins were great.

good film. however pay pye is NOT a real person. it was based on the life and crimes of charles schimdt. he really did wear make-up and stuff his cuban-heeled boots with crushed cans to appear taller. cool(not). another pathetic insecure loser for the dumb fucks to idolise. disturbing stuff. he died in prison. lets hope it was a painful death.

yes I will come home this evening and probably go to the dvd store right tomorrow! only thing that sucks is that the movie costs me 20bucks, but I really thnk its worth it, evev if it is just half as good as the trailer! and OMG alone for the main actor, he looks so awesome, the way he talks and moves, just great, he could just stay there for two hours and read a telephone book, I would watch it :) I really think I need to let him take a part in my books... I finally bought and watched the film, and to be honest.... it was not as good as expectetd, sorry but worst for me was ray, he was not cool, neither dark or sexy like it seemed in the trailer, he was a more like a faggot , a little teenage prick that was really annoying; well well, its not taaaath bad, but I really expected a lot from the trailer, and its always annoying to watch a movie in wich you dont like anybody :(
