The stories I've read about Perseus are much different from this one and the movie clash of the titans, how he got the head of Medusa wasn't it for a gift for the king and in the movie Zeus have a child with the kings wife but in the story he has one with his daughter when she was locked up

Modern Greeks aren't decendants of the Ancient Greeks, who've dissolved in the multiple nationalities under the rule of the Roman empire or died out.
