The 8 bit version of Ken's theme is pretty badass. The game isn't that bad in general. I'm sure Capcom did their best to get the best result out of the GB's limited hardware.

The frame rate's broken because they used background tiles for all the character sprites. If you want to see why, check out Samurai Showdown for the same system. Completely playable, even now, but the graphics look like IM emoticons.

Before the internet made it easy to look up reviews, people were more likely to buy a game just because it looked good on the back of the box...

Considering how limited handhelds were back at the of this game's release this isn't a terrible version of SF II. Capcom also did a great job with Turbo Revival on GBA years later. Can't wait to see how Super SF IV turns out on 3DS.

The actually Lynx had very powerful harddware for it's time, way ahead of the competition. It could move sprites and large portions of the graphics around the screen, really well, because of it's blitter chip. This would be ideal for a game like this
